With the continuous enrichment of green space resources in China, the improvement and transformation of urban green space will become an inevitable trend in the future development of urban green space.Among them, analyzing the attribute characteristics of various components of urban green space and the coupling relationship between them and people’s diverse needs is the cornerstone of deepening the promotion of urban green land improvement and transformation.Birdsong is an important component of urban green space soundscape, and it is also a typical natural soundscape type with high preference in urban green space. However, the existing research in the field of bird singing soundscapes still faces problems such as limited research disciplines, insufficient vertical depth of research, and single research methods, which restrict the output and application of bird singing soundscapes achievements. Therefore, this article takes the common bird songs within the urban green space of Hefei City as an example, and uses the results of the expert scoring method as the main reference index for the classification of common bird songs.Based on the frequency of the main peak of bird songs,9 common bird songs are selected, and their preference is further explored.By combining subjective perception evaluation with objective physiological indicator measurement, combined with data normalization, entropy method, and information weight method, the data is analyzed and processed to explore people’s perception preferences and influencing factors for common bird songs in urban green spaces. It was found that the subjective and objective perception evaluation of different birdsong was different, and the preference of the song of the Black-throated Bushtit, the Daurian Redstart, and the Japanese Tit was higher;Little Grebe and Common Pheasant have low preference for singing;Spotted Dove,Oriental Turtle Dove and Azure-winged Magpie have common preference for song. The subjective perception preference evaluation of bird singing is influenced by its pleasant, unpleasant, and hoarse sound, but is not correlated with features such as familiarity, novelty, richness, and monotony; The difference in the frequency of the main peak of different bird songs is an important factor affecting the physiological changes during bird song perception, while the difference in the frequency of the main peak is not related to subjective perception evaluation.By fitting the common plant landscape spatial types of urban green spaces in Hefei with birdsong habitats,a virtual reality scene is constructed to explore the optimal perception of birdsong sound scene. At the same time, the data is processed by combining existing audiovisual interactive landscape preference models and data statistical analysis methods such as entropy method and information weight method. The results showed that the preference of the Daurian Redstart’s song was higher when it was combined with the shrub scene, the preference of the Spotted Dove’s song was higher when it was combined with the sparse forest grassland and dense forest scene, the preference of the Black-throated Bushtit’s song was higher when it was combined with the dense forest scene, and the preference of the Azure-winged Magpie’s song was higher when it was combined with the sparse forest grassland scene. Not all combinations of sound and visual landscapes will promote an increase in environmental preference. In practical applications, planning and design should be based on specific scenarios. Finally,by analyzing and discussing the research results on common preferences for birdsong soundscape perception and the best visual perception scenarios, combined with soundscape design techniques and relevant case studies, the application and suggestions of birdsong soundscape research results are explored,in order to provide scientific basis for future urban green space natural soundscape research and evidence-based design.Figure [40] table [27] reference [179]...
