Study Of Historical Coloured Stained Glasses In Shanxi Ancient Decorative Architecture

Architectural glass components are highly integrated ceramic art and architectural system in China.On the basis of exerting practical functions,they have gradually become special architectural components that express traditional Chinese aesthetic concepts,hierarchical system and religious rituals.This paper selects Shanxi Northern area as the key research area to carry out in-depth research on the glass components on the ancient buildings in this area.Through field investigation,data collection,picture study,comprehensive arrangement and comparative study,this paper discusses the process,shape,color,decoration and historical evolution of the glass components of the ancient architecture in the north of Shanxi Province,and probes into its cultural heritage and the deep core of decorative aesthetics.From the perspectives of regional differences,historical development and cultural integration,this paper studies and analyzes the decorative art features and aesthetic connotation of the ancient buildings in North Shanxi,and then finds that: First,the unique historical background and geographical environment of North Shanxi makes its decorative glass decoration different from other regions;Second,the decorative shapes are diverse and have rich cultural connotation;Third,the color of the glass is an important part of the traditional architectural color expression with a unique aesthetic style;Fourthly,the ancient architectural glass in the north of Shanxi presents unique artistic styles and distinct historical development and evolution processes in different periods.It is hoped that the research of art theory in this paper will provide experience and basis for the protection and repair of architectural glass in the future,and then make a modest contribution to the inheritance and development of glass art in the future.
