Study On Visual Landscape Assessment And Renewal Of Old Communities

In 2020,the central government released the "General Office of the State Council’s Guiding Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Renovation of Old Urban Communities".Jingzhou City is a famous historical and cultural city,and after a long period of development and precipitation,there are still a few historical neighborhoods and buildings in Jingzhou City.These areas are closely intertwined with modern life,carrying strong urban memories and rich cultural connotations,and witnessing the development of the city.In this paper,we will take the old community landscape in Shashi District as the research object and explore the assessment and renewal strategy of the old community landscape in Meitai Lane.Firstly,by reviewing relevant literature,compiling the research results related to visual landscape assessment theory and old community renovation at home and abroad,and conducting field research and analysis on the old community in Shashi District,Jingzhou City.Meanwhile,the landscape composition elements of old communities,including material elements,humanistic material elements and emotional elements,were compiled and analyzed in detail in order to get a preliminary grasp of the development and current situation of these old communities.Secondly,on the basis of the preliminary research,the index factors that can represent the landscape characteristics of the regional old communities are selected with the visual perception of experts in the fields of environmental design and urban and rural planning,while all the assessment factors that can comprehensively cover the landscape of the district are screened out by combining the domestic old community landscape assessment factors,so as to construct the visual landscape assessment system of the old communities in Shashi District and its corresponding scoring criteria.Finally,taking the old community of Meitai Lane in Shashi District as the research object,the old community landscape assessment system proposed in this paper is verified in order to verify the feasibility of the assessment system.Through the use of "online + offline" questionnaires for the landscape assessment of the old community of Meitai Lane,and the analysis of the assessment factors and results of each element,the corresponding landscape renewal strategy is proposed for the problems of the community,thus providing a reference for the design of the old community renovation and the landscape assessment of the old community in Jingzhou.
