Nowadays,sleep quality has gradually become a hot issue of concern for people.Good sleep can keep people energetic,while poor sleep can affect daily life and physical health,and in severe cases,it can even endanger life.In order to intervene in possible sleep problems in advance,daily sleep monitoring has become an indispensable means.Currently,the internationally recognized "gold standard" for sleep monitoring and assessment is the polysomnography(PSG),which uses signals such as electroencephalography(EEG),electrooculography(EOG),electromyography(EMG),electrocardiography(ECG),and respiration as analysis basis.Using PSG for sleep monitoring requires device wear by professional physicians in specific wards and has issues such as complex operation,high cost,discomfort during wear,and limited experimental conditions.Compared to PSG,portable sleep monitoring devices can conduct daily sleep monitoring at home under the premise of simple operation and high comfort.This paper independently designs and produces a portable multi-parameter sleep monitoring device that can collect and record sleep data including EEG,blood oxygen saturation,heart rate,snoring,and sleeping position.The feasibility of the portable multi-parameter sleep monitoring device for sleep assessment was verified by conducting comparative experiments with PSG.The sleep staging results of EEG features collected by PSG were used as a reference.The research contents of this paper are as follows:1.This paper independently designs and produces a rectangular sleep monitoring device that measures 80mm×40mm,and can be pasted on the forehead for use.The device can synchronously collect and record 2-channel EEG,1-channel blood oxygen saturation,1-channel heart rate,1-channel snoring,and 3-channel Euler angle data related to head position.At the same time,a supporting mobile client is designed and produced for displaying and saving sleep data.2.Using the portable multi-parameter sleep monitoring device and PSG,sleep monitoring experiments were designed and conducted,and data from 10 nights of effective sleep experiments were collected.Professional physicians completed sleep staging of EEG features collected by PSG and the portable multi-parameter sleep monitoring device and compared and analyzed the staging results to verify the feasibility of the device for sleep staging.3.Based on the raw pulse wave data collected by the device,offline calculations were performed to obtain blood oxygen saturation and heart rate data for the entire night,and the accuracy of pulse wave signal collection was verified.Euler angles were used to determine the activity of the head during sleep,and preliminary analysis was performed in combination with signals such as snoring and heart rate.Through testing and empirical evidence,it has been proven that using this device for sleep staging is consistent with PSG,while also effectively monitoring blood oxygen saturation,heart rate,snoring,and sleeping position during sleep.It can be used for daily home sleep monitoring.
