Abstract/Summary:
As China’s urbanization reaches an inflection point,the stock development era of urban construction requires high-quality development with increased refinement.At the same time,in the case of frequent urban natural disasters and the intensifying contradiction between "urban people" and natural space,urban development is faced with the urgent need to improve "resilience".However,as a famous Spring City with distinctive characteristics and a water network city with geographical characteristics,Jinan’s water-related elements-the point-like "spring" and the planar "lake"-are more like the "star" that attracts much attention,while the linear "river" for flood discharge has not received due attention.In the context of these three aspects,this study focuses on the public space of the waterfront of Jinan flood drainage river,and proposes a prior hypothesis: urban renewal through the optimization of this public space can activate urban stock space resources,enhance local areas’ long-term development,and contribute to public vitality.This research is conducted from three aspects:(1)Necessity analysis of optimal design of waterfront public space in Jinan flood drainage channel.First of all,the relevant historical records,management requirements and news hotspots of the public space of Jinan flood drainage river were investigated,and the current situation of human environment was analyzed.Secondly,based on hydrological analysis,the paper extracts the public space network of the waterfront of Jinan flood drainage channel,and analyzes its physical environment characteristics such as spatial distribution,land use type and spatial form.Combined with the stage of space development,the crux of the contradiction between the lagging space material environment and the negative human atmosphere is analyzed;(2)Construction of functional composite strategy system of waterfront public space in Jinan flood drainage channel.By comparing the design theories of waterfront public space at home and abroad,the general trend of the design development of waterfront public space is initially identified: from the human-oriented functionalism design to the idealized pursuit of ecological protection,and the final theoretical perspective is the integration of "ecology" and "society".Then,relevant cases were collected and combined with case analysis,and specific strategies suitable for functional composite of waterfront public space of Jinan flood drainage river were summarized from three perspectives of "eco-society" integration,"design-demand" digital translation and "function-form" integration;(3)Exploration of functional composite design path for public space of waterfront of Jinan flood drainage river.Taking the Guang Chang dong flood drainage channel as an example,this paper explores the design of waterfront public space of the flood drainage channel in central Jinan.With the optimization of point space as the "starting point",relying on the transformation of the old waterfront district,the internal integration of point waterfront space is driven;In the process of "carrying pen",the urban green space outside the site is connected by linear slow traffic to realize the aggregation of external space resources.Taking the area space waterfront area optimization guidance and control as "finishing",the paper emphasizes the spatial characteristics and needs of different waterfront sections,makes spatial guidance and control rules specifically,and makes them integrate into the waterfront public space system,and finally verifies the validity of the pre-hypothesis.In summary,from the perspective of urban design,this paper gives full play to the leading advantages of architecture and explores the combination of multi-disciplines under the guidance of problems.Jinan flood drainage channel water system is introduced into the urban public space system,and the functional potential of green infrastructure is explored.The integration of sociological research method with oblique photography,interaction design and other technologies makes up for the shortcomings of the method in practical operation and expands the application scenarios of related technologies.It provides a new idea for the urban renewal of Jinan,and hopes to realize the overall improvement of the "water rhyme Spring City" style as soon as possible.
