Research On Media Memory Of China’s Manned Spaceflight

In the long course of human social development,"memory" has played a vital role,and the formation of individual memory,collective memory and national memory of a country cannot be separated from the carrier of media."People’s Daily" is the most representative and influential mainstream media in my country.It has always paid close attention to the development of my country’s manned spaceflight field.,Gathering social forces and other aspects have been playing an important role.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China’s manned spaceflight industry has continuously made major breakthroughs.Therefore,this article takes the "Shenzhou" report of "People’s Daily" from 2013 to 2022 as the research object,starting from the theory of media memory,and using "People’s Daily" to shape the what kind of media memory of China’s manned spaceflight,why "People’s Daily" shaped such a media memory of China’s manned spaceflight,and how "People’s Daily" shaped the media memory of China’s manned spaceflight.The presentation and shaping of China’s manned spaceflight media memory since the era,discusses the significance of China’s manned spaceflight media memory construction,and finally puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the shortcomings in the process of China’s manned spaceflight media memory construction.Through research,it is found that People’s Daily’s media memory of China’s manned spaceflight is mainly presented in four aspects: politics,technology,culture,and characters.Among them,memory at the national political level is mainly reflected in leaders’ speeches,Hong Kong and Macao reactions,and international community speeches;science and technology The memory at the level is mainly reflected through the improvement of independent research and development capabilities,talents assisting the development of science and technology,and specific flight missions;the memory at the spiritual and cultural level is mainly reflected through domestic social repercussions and the promotion of the spirit of manned spaceflight;the memory at the role model level is through the astronauts.The excellent quality and the hard work of the workers behind the scenes are presented.In terms of the influencing factors of media memory,the media memory presentation of China’s manned spaceflight is mainly affected by three aspects: politics,culture,and media.In terms of the construction of media memory discourse,this thesis starts with the use of words,emotional color,and rhetorical use,and finds that the discourse features of People’s Daily’s media memory construction of China’s manned spaceflight have the characteristics of formality,seriousness,positiveness,and visual expression.In terms of construction methods,"People’s Daily" completes the construction of China’s manned spaceflight media memory through concentrated reports,multiple themes,highlighting key points,and repeated mentions.Through the above research results,on the one hand,we can understand the presentation and construction process of China’s manned spaceflight media memory in "People’s Daily";To better shape the media memory of China’s manned spaceflight,my country’s media circles should improve their reporting thinking and reporting methods,change their discourse style,improve their narrative framework,and focus on setting topics.
