| With the wide use of digital equipment and network,the media technology is more and more deeply involved in people’s daily life.The analysis of architectural design and criticism cannot be separated from the social premise of the development of media technology.As the object of media’s attention and report,architecture and the perception of architecture show the difference between architectural entity and symbol.In the age of Internet,the diversity of media promotes the diversity of architectural symbols,which appear in different images in the mass media and professional media.Firstly,this thesis divides media into digital media(mass media),printed media(professional media)and architectural media(cluster architecture),through the analysis,we know that the digital media tend to convey the emotional information mainly by the image-based iconography,while the printed media tend to convey the complex logical information by the text-based iconography.The architectural media,demonstrated in the form of architectural exhibitions,show both commercial and academic characteristics.Secondly,this thesis chooses the communication practices of Sanlian Library in Qinhuangdao and the Duzhai in Baiyin as case studies,and investigates and interprets the shaping strategies of different media on architectural image.Among them,Sanlian Library presents the image characteristics of “commercial atmosphere” and “pure object” in the mass and professional media respectively,and Duzhai shows the image of the controversial building,reflects the different values of architecture in the eyes of different groups.Finally,the thesis points out that the creation of architectural images in different media cannot be achieved without the influence of architectural ontology,media characteristics and the needs of the audience.In the age of Internet,the deep integration of architecture and media catalyzes the formation of architectural media complex and intensifies the tendency of architectural practice to be media.This new trend,on the one hand,encourages elite architects to use the superposition effect of architecture and media to capture valuable media resources,and on the other hand,warns them to participate in it with a prudent attitude,and to avoid becoming the victim of public opinion. |
