With the rapid development of urban construction,the construction of underground transportation facilities dominated by subways is taking an increasingly large proportion in the process of urbanization.In this process,the shield muck generated by shield construction has gradually become the main source of urban solid waste.At present,the treatment method for shield muck in China is mainly idle and waste,resulting in increasingly serious ecological and environmental protection issues and resource waste issues.At the same time,a large amount of soil is required in highway construction projects,resulting in the depletion of road material resources,and the resource utilization of shield slag is imminent.Based on the actual investigation of the project,it is found that most of the shield muck needs to be treated before it can be used in engineering due to its poor performance and high water content.Therefore,it is of great engineering application value and important practical significance to study the shield muck subgrade filling technology combined with the East Sixth Ring Road Reconstruction Project.This article focuses on the large amount of slurry shield soil generated during the renovation project of the East Sixth Ring Road in Beijing.The undisturbed soil on the south side of the shield tunnel section at the same depth as the tunnel construction before the start of the shield tunneling project is used as a comparative sample.Through conducting particle composition,chemical composition,microscopic analysis,and mechanical properties(CBR test,unconfined compressive strength test,and dynamic triaxial test)research,the performance degradation characteristics of shield soil are analyzed.Based on the requirements of roadbed fillers,in response to the deterioration of material properties caused by residual materials containing muddy water in the slurry shield soil,cement,DF agent,and ecological adhesive powder were selected as improvement materials to improve the physical,chemical,and mechanical properties of the shield soil.By measuring the CBR values of three improved materials with different dosages,the optimal dosages of the three improved materials are determined using the CBR value growth rate as the evaluation index.Subsequently,research was conducted on improving the compaction performance,strength,and stability of the shield tunneling soil,and an analysis was conducted on the improvement effect of the shield tunneling soil.Under unfavorable conditions such as low temperature and rainfall,it is difficult to take improvement measures using cement,DF agent,and ecological rubber powder.Based on engineering practice,coarse aggregate(crushed stone aggregate,construction waste)is proposed as another improvement plan.By studying the changes in moisture content,compaction performance,and bearing capacity of shield tunneling slag soil by adding coarse aggregate,the optimal mixing ratio of crushed stone and construction waste is determined.Finally,based on the East Sixth Ring Road renovation project,an improved construction process for shield tunneling slag was proposed,and solutions were proposed for the technical points in the process.Based on this,the experimental road project was completed,providing reference for the comprehensive utilization of shield tunneling slag in road and roadbed engineering.
