| With the development of the city, the scale of three-dimensional traffic is growing and viaduct traffic has become an important way for residents in big cities. The space under the viaduct is huge. From the perspective of people-orientation,the establishment of the viaduct has resulted in the surplus space, the fragmentation of the public space, the destruction of the urban green space system, the disturbance to the overall ecological environment of the site, the weakening of people’s walking accessibility and convenience. The setting of viaduct also affects the waterfront landscape. The space under the waterfront viaduct includes two types of space:waterfront and viaduct. The design of waterfront often ignores or conceals this space which results in space fracture, function loss and natural destruction.China’s cities are changing from extensive expansion to refined development, and from incremental planning to stock planning. It is imperative to integrate and utilize the existing urban space. In this paper, the potential of waterfront elevated space is tapped and the concept of landscape integration design is used to optimize, integrate and upgrade the site in order to build an elevated public space more in line with urban development. The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly, the similarities and differences between domestic and foreign space use under viaducts are compared and analyzed, and the reference points and current problems are summarized.Aiming at the space under waterfront viaducts, the argument of using landscape integration design to intervene is put forward innovatively. The second chapter analyzes the concept and theory of waterfront elevated, potential space and landscape integration design, and analyzes the elements of landscape integration design from the potential orientation of nature, function and space under waterfront elevated. The third chapter analyzes the content and method of landscape integration design through case comparison.Shanghai,a representative city, was function and space under waterfront elevated. The third chapter analyzes the content and method of landscape integration design through case comparison.Shanghai,a representative city, was selected to investigate the nodes of elevated space along Suzhou River and Huangpu River, and the circular elevated space in the west section of nanpu bridge along Huangpu River was selected as the research plot.Through comparative analysis of domestic and foreign cases, the methods and contents of landscape integration design were summarized. The fourth chapter, through the research and analysis of the previous article, constructs the landscape integration design strategy from potential-oriented nature, function and space, and concludes that the design should be based on respect for nature and integrated with nature; It is necessary to excavate the function of the space under the elevated waterfront and combine the functions in multiple ways;Promote the integration of spaces in series, finally realize the transformation from surplus space to active space, and enhance the overall value of the site.Summarize the design strategy of "harmonious nature, multiple functions and spatial connection".The fifth chapter carries out the design practice, combining the theoretical research and the guidance of design strategy, tapping the potential of the space under the nanpu bridge Ring Elevated in Shanghai, analyzing the geographical conditions and present situation of the site, conducting a questionnaire survey on the users, designing the landscape integration from three aspects: nature, function and space, using the design concept of "gravitation" and the expression of "gravitational wave",further verifying the landscape integration design in waterfront through the zoning design of 4 themes,7zones and 16 landscape nodes. |
