Spatio-temporal Differentiation And Influencing Factors Of Intellectualization Of China’s Marine Shipbuilding Industry

Marine shipbuilding industry is a comprehensive industry that provides technology and equipment for national shipping transportation,marine exploitation and national defense construction.It occupies an important position in our national economy and is an important support for our country to implement the strategy of maritime power and manufacturing power.In recent years,a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is developing in depth,the impact of COVID-19 is widespread and far-reaching and the competition in the international shipping market is becoming increasingly fierce.China’s marine shipbuilding industry is facing the most severe challenge since the financial crisis.At the same time,China’s marine shipbuilding industry has been exposed to problems such as weak core technology,limited management level and low shipbuilding efficiency.Generally speaking,it is "big but not strong",and the task of high-quality development with innovation as the primary driving force is urgent and arduous.In this context,our marine shipbuilding industry should comply with the trend of the new round of industrial revolution,seize the historic opportunity of "overtaking on the curve",take intelligent manufacturing as the starting point,promote the intellectualization of marine shipbuilding industry and seize the commanding heights of competition of international marine shipbuilding industry.Based on the above background,this study takes 11 coastal provinces and cities(districts)of China as the research area and constructs the evaluation indicator system of intellectualization of marine shipbuilding industry which is based on systematically defining the concept of intellectualization of marine shipbuilding industry.We comprehensively apply fuzzy matter element model,kernel density estimation,standard deviation ellipse and Geo Detector to measure the level,analyze the spatial-temporal differentiation and study the influencing factors of intellectualization of China’s marine ship industry,so as to reveal the effectiveness and mechanism of intellectualization of China’s marine ship industry.The conclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of timing changes,the intellectualization of China’s marine shipbuilding industry shows a slightly rising trend during the study period,from 0.327 in 2010 to 0.353 in 2018,with a growth rate of 7.95%.The three dimensions of the intellectualization of marine shipbuilding industry of Chin all show a slightly rising trend,among which the level of scientific and technological innovation is the highest,followed by the level of integrated application and the level of intelligent benefit is the lowest.At the same time,the absolute difference of the intellectualization of China’s marine shipbuilding industry shows a decreasing trend,but "the strong are stronger" and the imbalance among regional distribution still exists.(2)In terms of spatial evolution,during the study period,the center of gravity of the intellectualization of China’s marine shipbuilding industry migrates to the southwest on the whole,and the distribution shows a trend of low value area shrinking to the south,middle value area spreading to the north and high value area extending from the south to the middle.Specifically,the intellectualization of China’s marine shipbuilding industry shows a steady rising trend in Hebei,Shandong,Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong.The intellectualization of China’s marine shipbuilding industry shows a weakening trend in Liaoning,Tianjin and Shanghai.The intellectualization of China’s marine shipbuilding industry shows a fluctuating change in Fujian Guangxi and Hainan.(3)In terms of influencing factors,innovation environment,human resources,market concentration,financial development and government intervention all had significant explanatory power on the intellectualization of China’s marine shipbuilding industry.The explanatory power of each factor is in the order of innovation environment > financial development > human resources >government intervention > market concentration,and the interaction type of influencing factors is double factor enhancement.
