With the proposal of the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality",we need to do a good job in energy conservation and emission reduction. In addition, the proportion of new energy vehicles in the total number of cars keeps increasing, and the number of car drivers keeps growing,it is particularly important to have an efficient,energy-saving and comfortable thermal environment system in the cabin of new energy vehicles. This paper takes the passenger cabin of a new energy vehicle as the research object, uses SOLIDWORKS 2018 three-dimensional software to conduct 1:1 scale modeling of the passenger cabin of a new energy vehicle, and uses ANSYS FLUENT 19.2 for numerical simulation to analyze the high temperature of the passenger cabin after being sunburned in Hangzhou in summer. At this time, the relatively low ambient temperature outside the passenger cabin is used for ventilation and cooling of the passenger cabin. The influence of different air inlet, air outlet arrangement, air inlet speed and air inlet Angle on ventilation and cooling characteristics of the passenger cabin of new energy vehicles is studied, and the influence of-6℃ temperature in Hangzhou in winter is analyzed. When the Positive Temperature Coefficient(PTC)of new energy vehicles was opened, the influence of different air inlet arrangement, air inlet speed and air inlet Angle on the heating characteristics of the passenger cabin of new energy vehicles was studied. The research shows that: in summer, the arrangement of air inlet in the crew cabin of new energy vehicles affects the distribution of low-temperature airflow in the crew cabin, and the cooling speed and cooling effect of the monitoring point directly facing the air inlet are usually better. With the increase of air inlet speed, the cooling speed will be faster, and the temperature will be lower when the temperature reaches thermal equilibrium after cooling, which means the cooling effect will be better. However, when the air inlet speed exceeds 3m/s,the influence of increasing the air inlet speed on the cooling speed and the cooling effect will be less and less. The air inlet Angle causes the air inlet flow to align with a monitoring point in the crew cabin,so the faster the cooling speed of the monitoring point, the better the cooling effect.Similarly, the arrangement of air intake vents in the crew cabin of new energy vehicles in winter affects the distribution of hot air flow in the crew cabin, and the better the heating speed and heating effect of the monitoring point facing the air intake. With the increase of air inlet speed, the heating speed will be faster, and the temperature will be higher when it reaches thermal equilibrium after heating, that is,the heating effect will be better. However, when the air inlet speed exceeds 3m/s,the influence of increasing the air inlet speed on the heating speed and the heating effect will be less and less. The air inlet Angle causes the air inlet flow to align with a monitoring point in the crew cabin,so the faster the heating speed of the monitoring point, the better the heating effect. In order to improve the driver’s thermal comfort and improve the driving safety, the thermal comfort of the driver’s position in summer and winter is given priority, and it is recommended to adopt the air inlet layout of Scheme 3.The lower the air inlet speed, the more energy of the power battery of the new energy vehicle is saved, and the range is relatively improved. It is recommended to use the air inlet speed of 3m /s,and the air inlet Angle is 0°.
