The construction industry has witnessed remarkable growth since the reform and opening up.And the rise of some other linked industries has also been fueled by the industry’s expanding scale and continuously improved construction capability. It is also of great significance for stimulating social and economic development, speeding up urban and rural construction and addressing people’s demands for housing, education, healthcare, etc. However, due to the complicated effects of early survey and design, raw materials, construction technology, personnel quality, construction cycle, cost, progress, etc. On the construction project, the construction industry still involves frequent quality safety accidents.According to the statistics of the national notification of production safety accidents in housing and municipal projects from2009 to 2020,there were 8977 production safety accidents in housing and municipal projects nationwide, with 10887 deaths, which jeopardize people’s property and life safety, and also go against the requirements of the people in the new era for high-quality construction products.Elevating the quality management level of the construction industry is essential for ensuring the high quality of construction products. Therefore,it is crucial to examine the quality management evaluation system of engineering projects, investigate the key variables influencing the quality of construction products and provide corresponding quality management solutions to enhance the quality management level.Firstly, this thesis presented the fundamental theories and concepts of project quality control, including quality management, quality planning, quality control, and life-cycle management theory of engineering construction projects. The comprehensive evaluation methods of quality management were then elucidated to lay a theoretical foundation for the quality control of research projects, including the analytic hierarchy process and network analytic hierarchy process.Secondly, the indicators of each stage of the project were summarized and categorized to form an indicator pool based on previous studies. An indicator system containing 23 quality management indicators was developed after the indicator pool was screened twice using the Delphi approach. To account for the potential interdependencies across indicators, the network analytic hierarchy process was applied to calculate the weights of the indicators, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was included in the final quality management evaluation model. Finally, the training center construction project of a school was chosen as the case study object, the quality management evaluation model method was established using the expert scoring technique, and the applicability of this model was also validated.Furthermore, several suggestions were made to enhance the quality management level of the project based on the settlement results, including keeping a close eye on the quality management work during the survey and design stages, improving various contracts, improving the process handover system, focusing on the application of new technologies and methods, refining the reward and punishment system, and leaving image data for necessary concealed works. In summary, the findings of this thesis make a theoretical contribution to the field of project quality management, and have certain practical implications for raising the level of project quality management. |
