However,With the development of anti armor weapons,they pose a fatal threat to armored vehicles and equipment.Therefore,the research and application of armor protection technology is extremely important for armored vehicles and other equipment.Explosive reactive armor is one of the most effective protective measures for armor protection due to its advantages such as good ballistic performance,small mass,and low occupancy.Explosive reactive armor has an effective interference effect on metal jets,but the specific interference mechanism,especially the interference mechanism of heavy reactive armor on metal jets,is unclear and needs further research.Aiming at this issue,this paper proposes a relatively complete research scheme for the interference of heavy reactive armor against metal jets,with a view to obtaining the multiple interference laws of heavy reactive armor against metal jets,which has certain guiding significance for armor protection and the development of anti armor weapons.In this paper,theoretical analysis,numerical simulation,and experimental verification methods are combined for systematic research.In this paper,the three-dimensional numerical simulation software ANSYS/LS-DYNA is used to simulate the penetration of single layer reactive armor and double layer heavy reactive armor with specific structures under different normal angles and backplate distances through the control variable method,and the penetration process is analyzed to obtain the effective cutting length,residual penetration velocity The variation rules of the interference action such as the change of the movement speed of the flying plate,as well as the flight state of the flying plate and the jet shape after the interference.Research shows:1.Under different normal angles of a single layer reactive armor structure,the normal angle ranges from 0 ° to 70 °.With the increase of the normal angle,the initiation time of the reactive armor gradually increases,and the initiation time of the normal angle of 70 ° is 23.7% longer than that of 0 °.The contact time between the residual jet and the main armor is gradually delayed,with a 37.4% delay in the normal angle of 70 ° compared to 0 °.The effective cutting length of the metal jet from the back plate changes slowly with the increase of the normal angle compared to the panel.The residual penetration velocity of the jet decreases with the increase of the normal angle.In the range of 50 ° to 70 °,the residual penetration velocity of the jet decreases rapidly.The greater the normal angle,the stronger the interference of the jet with reactive armor.2.When the distance between the back plates of the single layer reactive armor varies from5 mm to 25 mm,the contact time between the residual jet and the main armor increases as the distance between the back plates increases;The effective interference length of the back plate to the metal jet is significantly increased,and the effective interference length of the back plate with a distance of 25 mm is 163% higher than that of the 5mm back plate;The residual penetration velocity of the jet decreases with the increase of the normal angle.The residual penetration velocity of the jet with a backplate distance of 25 mm decreases by 14.4% compared to that with a 5mm backplate distance.The peak value of the backplate velocity increases with the backplate distance.As the backplate distance increases,the interference effect of the jet with the backplate increases.3."Heavy reactive armor structures have different normal angle conditions.As the normal angle increases,the initiation time of both layers of reactive armor sandwich charges is delayed.The second layer of reactive armor detonates,with a normal angle of 70 ° compared to 0 °,the initiation time is extended by 46.7%,and the initiation time interval is 7 us,extending to 21 us.As the normal angle gradually increases,the contact time between the residual jet and the main armor is gradually delayed,with a delay of 50.4% compared to the normal angle of 0 °,and the residual penetration velocity of the jet is reduced by 34%.",The interference of heavy reactive armor against metal jets increases with the increase of normal angle.4.Under the conditions of different backplate distances for heavy reactive armor,the time when the residual jet reaches the main armor gradually lengthens,and the time when the backplate distance is 25 mm is 24.6% longer than that when the backplate distance is 5mm.The residual penetration velocity of the jet decreases by 23.4%.As the backplate distance increases,the interference effect of the jet by heavy reactive armor increases.
