Drop shock is the main cause of product damage.As a portable cleaning tool,hand-held vacuum cleaners bring users a convenient experience,but also inevitably face the risk of drop damage.In view of the fact that the current product drop impact test lacks precise control of the drop posture,cannot be applied to the impact resistance test of different research objects under complex working conditions,and lacks the acquisition and analysis of structural dynamic response parameters;Due to the single test conditions and the lack of test results verification,this paper aims to comprehensively evaluate the impact resistance performance of the handheld vacuum cleaner under the drop impact load by combining the drop impact test with the finite element numerical simulation.The innovative work achieved in this paper mainly includes:(1)A drop impact test bench including three modules of posture control,data acquisition and motion analysis was built.The test bench is mainly composed of an aluminum alloy bracket,and the pulley and rope suspension mechanism is used to control the initial falling posture of the test object with instruments such as sliding table and slide rail.Multiple tension and pressure sensors are used to form an impact force test bench,which can measure the impact force during the drop process in real time,the three-axis acceleration sensor is used to collect the drop impact acceleration of the core components,and the sensor data is collected and analyzed;the test bench is equipped with a high-speed camera,which can conduct kinematic analysis of the entire process of the test object falling.(2)The finite element model of the whole handheld vacuum cleaner is constructed.Through geometric cleaning and model simplification,the wrong topological connection relationship in the geometric model is repaired,which lays a foundation for dividing highquality meshes and improves the solution efficiency.High-quality parts are obtained through meshing and mesh quality inspection.Finite element model;by setting the connection relationships such as snap connection,spring connection,screw connection and selecting the contact algorithm,the finite element machine model is obtained;the mechanical property parameters of the main materials are obtained by conducting material tensile tests;by adding loads and boundaries Conditions,setting control keywords,etc.,create a drop simulation K file.The quality difference between the finite element model of the whole machine and the prototype is only 0.49%,which realizes the accurate modeling of the whole hand-held vacuum cleaner.(3)The drop impact simulation and experiment were carried out for the 6 kinds of drop postures of the dust collector.The research results of the dust collector show that when subjected to the impact load of a 400 mm drop,the wedge-shaped protrusion of the filter will undergo obvious plastic deformation,resulting in the failure of the connection between the filter and the dust bucket,the collision of the joint tip and the convexity of the dust bucket.When the dust collector collides with the ground,there will be obvious damage phenomena such as plastic deformation and fracture failure.Through the comparison of the impact force results measured by the drop simulation and the experiment,the difference between the simulation and the experimental impact force of the different drop postures of the dust collector is obtained,and the drop posture can be found.It has a great influence on the peak value of the impact force,and the deviation of the initial angle of the collision under the same drop attitude will also lead to a large difference in the impact force of the collision.The trend of the simulation and experimental impact force results is relatively consistent,which verifies the reliability of the simulation results.(4)The drop impact simulation and experiment were carried out for the 6 kinds of drop postures of the dust collector.The research results of the host show that when subjected to the impact load of a drop from a height of 800 mm,the snap connection between the battery pack and the host will fail under a partial drop posture,and the dust collector may be disengaged from the host as a whole.Comparing the measured impact force results,the difference between the simulation and test impact force of different drop attitudes of the host is obtained.The simulation and experimental values of different attitudes are relatively consistent in trend,which verifies the reliability of the simulation results.(5)Simulation and experiments were carried out for five complex working conditions of the whole machine.The research results of the whole machine show that when the impact load is dropped from a height of 400 mm,the limit block at the hinge of the suction nozzle will undergo severe plastic deformation or even break,causing the suction nozzle to not rotate normally;when the suction nozzle collides with the ground or stairs diagonally Under the working conditions such as step angle,serious bending deformation of the joint,disengagement of the battery pack from the main engine,and possible disengagement of the main engine from the conduit will occur.
