As a major destructive element in anti-terrorist operations and the maintenance of social security,deterring lawbreakers,the performance index of police ammunition directly determines the success or failure of various police tasks.Unlike military ammunition,the performance index of police ammunition is aimed at disabling lawbreakers.Based on this background,this paper designs a new type of low-intrusion 9mm rifle ammunition dedicated to police teams,which relies on warhead deformation to achieve low-intrusion,collateral damage and simple structure of police targets by improving the warhead structure.In this paper,the low penetration characteristics of the warhead are analyzed theoretically through the construction of human vulnerability analysis model,and the structure design of the bullet is carried out.The penetration process of the warhead is simulated by numerical simulation,and the factors affecting the penetration depth are analyzed according to the simulation results to optimize the warhead structure.Finally,the damage performance of the low penetration warhead is verified by numerical simulation test through the human target model.The main work content includes the following aspects:(1)Construct human vulnerability analysis model.Firstly,the data are queried to conduct three-dimensional modeling of the human body through the scale,analyze the main functions and tissues of the human body,analyze the damage characteristics of different tissues of the human body,establish the relationship between damage and disability,then determine the key parts of the human body with survival as the core function,and finally determine the damage and disability levels of the human body based on the damage levels,and establish the human damage tree according to different damage levels.Establish the finite element analysis model of human body.(2)Preliminary design of the structure of police rifle cartridges.The preliminary design of the structure of the 9mm low penetration police rifle cartridge based on the penetration mechanism of the cartridge and its application was carried out to determine the material parameters and damage model of each structure of the low penetration cartridge,and on the basis of completing the design of the cartridge structure,the ballistic parameters were obtained through external ballistic and power verification.The best low penetration characteristics were obtained at a cylindrical length of 11 mm and a radius of 54 mm.(3)Optimisation of the warhead structure.Based on the literature,the width and number of rectangular grooves were used as factors to optimise the structure of the low penetration 9mm bullet with the same mass and velocity of the bullet.The results of the prediction model were found to be in good agreement with the simulated values,and the best low penetration characteristics were finally obtained for a bullet with a groove width of 0.6mm and a number of grooves of 4.(4)Verification of the slug power of police low penetration rifle bullets.The finite element model of each functional part of the human body is applied,and the optimized warhead structure is used to conduct finite element penetration tests on different parts of the human body,such as the head and chest,based on stochastic theory.The methods and conclusions in this paper can provide basic theoretical support for related engineering applications.
