With the development of The Times, the living standard of our people is constantly improving, and the requirement for the quality of life is increasingly high. The tourism industry is also rising rapidly, from the era of "minority tourism" to the era of "mass tourism".Transportation plays a vital role in tourism, which not only affects the speed of tourism development, but also determines the quality of tourism.China’s high-speed rail, with its advantages of convenience, safety and comfort, has become the preferred means of transportation for many tourists, providing a strong driving force for the development of tourism and creating many new business opportunities.Western Yunnan has rich tourism resources, but due to the restrictions of economic conditions, geographical location, visibility and other factors, the development of tourism is unbalanced,so it is necessary to further improve and optimize the tourism spatial structure. The opening of Kunchu High Speed Railway will bring unprecedented opportunities and challenges for tourism. The study of the impact of Kun-chu high-speed Railway on tourism geography and spatial structure can not only enrich our understanding of the relationship between high-speed railway and tourism, but also provide us with more empirical research,so as to provide more theoretical basis for the impact of high-speed railway on tourism. In addition,by studying the improvement of tourism spatial structure in western Yunnan under the background of high-speed rail,we can better understand the impact of high-speed rail on regional tourism development and find the existing problems,so as to put forward effective optimization strategies to promote the sustainable development of tourism. The introduction of advanced tourism management methods and modes can not only greatly enhance the tourism competitiveness of the west Yunnan region, but also provide strong support for the future development and promote the coordinated development of tourism in core areas such as Dali and Lijiang and marginal areas such as Diqing,Nujiang and Dehong, which is of great practical significance. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the great changes of the Kun-chu high-speed railway to the tourism spatial structure in western Yunnan, and to analyze its quantitative and qualitative characteristics. In this paper,a comprehensive application of accessibility theory,point-axis theory,core-edge theory and other theories, combined with mathematical models such as weighted average travel time, geographical concentration index and spatial agglomeration index, has conducted in-depth research on relevant problems and proposed effective solutions in order to achieve better travel experience. The main research problems are as follows :(1)Analyze the spatial distribution of tourist attractions at all levels, the changes of tourist flow and tourist source market before and after the opening of high-speed railway in western Yunnan;(2)The evolution influence of tourism spatial structure in western Yunnan after the opening of the Kun-Chu high-speed Railway. The changes of tourism accessibility, tourism attraction and tourist passenger transport market radius of eight major cities in western Yunnan before and after the opening of high-speed railway were compared.Compare and analyze the change of Internet attention of "West Yunnan Tourism" in Baidu search engine before and after the opening of high-speed railway; The mutual influence between the core area and the marginal area of tourism in western Yunnan and the changes of tourism space in each area before and after the opening of high-speed railway are compared.(3)According to the results of the above empirical analysis, based on the theories of point-axis and core-edge,it points out the advantages and shortcomings of the current tourism development in West Yunnan, and puts forward optimization strategies for the tourism spatial structure in west Yunnan.Through the research,it is concluded that the tourism spatial structure in western Yunnan has significantly changed after the opening of the Kun-chu high-speed railway, mainly including the following five points :(1)The accessibility of all cities in western Yunnan has been improved after the opening of the high-speed railway, and the core city still has obvious advantages, which has produced strong "locking effect" and "siphon effect".But the weighted average travel time of each city in west Yunnan is generally higher.(2)After the opening of the Kun-chu high-speed Railway, the economic relations among various cities in western Yunnan have been strengthened, and the integrity and synergy of tourism development have been improved. With the passage of time, the attraction of tourism has been significantly improved;(3)With the completion of Kun-chu high-speed railway, the scope of tourist sources in western Yunnan has been greatly expanded, which not only greatly affects the development of local tourism, but also greatly enhances the scale of tourism;(4)With the construction of high-speed railway, the tourism resources in the west Yunnan region become more colorful, transforming from the original regional characteristics to diversified characteristics. As a result, the tourism spatial structure of core tourism cities such as Dali and Lijiang changes from centralized to dispersed, forming a more systematic and balanced tourism pattern;(5)With the completion of Kun-Chu high-speed railway, the tourism industry in western Yunnan has been promoted significantly, but it is also faced with many opportunities and challenges. Therefore, all regions should strengthen coordination and work together to create a better future. The innovation points of the research are as follows: from the regional high-speed rail network as a whole to study the evolution of tourism flow spatial structure content innovation;Research perspective innovation based on the influence of spatial structure evolution of tourism flow under the background of high-speed rail.
