Abstract/Summary:
Tooling design plays an extremely important role in the entire development process of products,but the existing tooling design patterns are difficult to meet the requirements of rapid,standardized,and standardized design and manufacturing in the market.There are still serious shortcomings in knowledge integration,sharing,and reuse,which cannot respond to the demands of agile manufacturing and lean production in the current market.Based on this,this paper proposes to integrate knowledge engineering technology,quality control technology and modular design idea into the whole process of tooling design to guide rapid tooling design.A rapid tooling design prototype system has been developed based on the requirements and specifications of a large domestic aircraft development enterprise’s aircraft engine tooling design,which improves the inheritance and reuse of tooling design knowledge,shortens the product development cycle,and reduces product design errors.The main research content of this article is as follows:(1)From the perspective of product design reuse,the research object of knowledge modeling is the past design knowledge of tooling and completed design examples.Analyze the source of fixture design knowledge and the process of acquiring fixture design knowledge,and study the representation method of design knowledge using a hybrid representation method of production,framework,and object-oriented,so that computers can extract understandable and inferential knowledge from the database.Using a hierarchical modular approach to construct a knowledge base for fixture design and classify and store design knowledge,this paper provides a detailed introduction to the development process of fixture standard parts library and design reuse library,as well as the method of calling the database.By selecting different model parameters,the system will automatically load the 3D models that generate standard parts and instance templates,laying the foundation for the development of a fixture rapid prototyping system.(2)Research on the reasoning technology for rapid design of tooling,combined with the representation methods of instances and the retrieval principles of instance templates,using the instance template based and improved nearest neighbor method to retrieve instances.This article proposes a combination weight based on Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(FAHP)and Similarity Deviation Information Synthesis Method to calculate the global similarity of instances,retrieve the instance with the highest similarity to the design instance in the instance library,and perform case reasoning variant design on the basis of existing instance templates,in response to the allocation of subjective and objective weight coefficients for instances.The results demonstrate that the improved nearest neighbor method improves the recall and accuracy of the algorithm,providing case data support for the case reasoning variant design module of the tooling rapid design prototype system.(3)Research on tooling quality control technology to reduce errors caused by tooling design errors from the source.Firstly,study the basic theory of quality control and analyze the basic types of tooling quality defects;Secondly,in the initial stage of tooling design,quality control technology is used to establish model quality control inspection mechanism,Knowledge representation and reasoning of model quality inspection rules is carried out,and knowledge engineering language is used to digitally define tooling design knowledge,forming rules that can be executed by computers;Finally,the inspection items of the tooling quality inspection rule library are constructed to ensure that they comply with the corresponding design standards and specifications,providing theoretical and technical support for the development of the quality control inspection module of the tooling rapid design prototype system.(4)On the basis of the above research results,the development process and system architecture of the tooling prototype system are studied.The NX secondary development technology is used to develop the tooling rapid design prototype system on the NX platform.The NX/OPEN secondary development tool is used to complete the design of the system menu,toolbar,and dialog box.The focus is on the development of various functional modules of the tooling prototype system,including parametric design modules,specialized tooling modules,and quality control modules,And verify the reliability and practicality of the system through examples.This paper puts forward the innovative application of knowledge engineering technology,quality control technology and modular design idea to the design of aeroengine tooling.The developed tooling rapid design prototype system has been put into practical application in a large aerospace enterprise,basically meeting the production design needs of the enterprise.This system effectively improves the design efficiency of tooling and the controllability of the production process,and has certain economic and practical value.It provides a new idea for improving the automation and intelligence level of aircraft engine tooling design.
