| A large number of vehicles are parked in the hold of ro-ro passenger ships,which will emit polluting gases.Once the ventilation in the hold is not smooth,it will bring safety hazards to the vehicle hold area.The ventilation design of most ro-ro passenger ships is based on existing experience for constant air volume design,with limited consideration for the airflow organization in the hold.The air duct design in the ventilation design of vehicle hold is related to the energy consumption and fan selection of the air duct fan,and is a key issue that needs to be considered in the ventilation design.This study is based on the ro-ro passenger ship project undertaken by a shipyard,and combines numerical simulation with traditional design to design the ventilation of a certain type of ro-ro passenger ship vehicle hold,studying the airflow organization in the vehicle hold.Preliminary design of vehicle hold ventilation.Based on the relevant parameters of the roro passenger ship,the relevant specifications of the classification society that the ship is to be classified into,and the ventilation design experience of the ship,determine the required air volume and ventilation layout form for the vehicle hold ventilation,and complete the ventilation layout and duct design drawings.Model and calculate the entire hold and various air duct models of the vehicle hold.Using numerical simulation methods,based on STAR-CMM+ software,calculate the ventilation of each air duct and the entire hold in the vehicle hold,and analyze the flow characteristics of each air duct.Calculate the pressure drop and air volume distribution of each air duct.Based on the calculation results of each air duct,it serves as the boundary condition for the ventilation calculation of the entire hold.Using air age as the ventilation evaluation index,analyze the ventilation flow field under different working conditions to determine the specific working conditions where ventilation problems exist.Improve the preliminary design of vehicle hold ventilation.Analyze the typical air ducts in the vehicle hold,adjust the air duct structure,and clarify the impact of various air duct structural parameters on the pressure drop and air volume distribution of the vehicle hold air ducts.In response to specific working conditions where ventilation problems exist,a tunnel fan with good economy and easy layout is used to solve the problem.By adjusting the layout of the tunnel fan,the impact of different fan layouts on ventilation effectiveness is analyzed,and an improvement plan for the preliminary design of the ventilation system is completed.Inspect the actual ship and verify the accuracy of numerical simulation calculation methods and the effectiveness of vehicle hold ventilation design through actual ship inspection. |
