Research On Centralized VMI Logistics Outsourcing Strategy Of B Automobile Manufacturing Company

The transformation of global political and economic forms,the intensification of market competition and the sharp change of market demand have brought great challenges to the supply chain logistics management of automobile manufacters.Automobile manufacters have also begun to implement the VMI model to reduce the bullwhip effect and business risks caused by market fluctuations.The purpose of this study is to explore a new logistics management mode suitable for the VMI mode of automobile manufacters,and provide basis and reference for solving the logistics problems of the existing decentralized VMI logistics outsourcing mode of automobile manufacters.This article analyzes the operation status of Company B and its decentralized VMI logistics outsourcing mode,summarizes the problems such as higher logistics cost,complex supplier development process,low quality of parts delivery etc.,After deep and thorough analysis of the operation and logistics management problems of Company B,This article studies the necessity,benefits and risks of integrated VMI logistics outsourcing of Company B.Research shows that through integrated VMI logistics outsourcing,Company B can strengthen its core competitiveness,significantly reduce logistics costs,improve supply chain surplus,and enhance its market competitiveness.Based on the enterprise practice and the analysis of the logistics problems under the decentralized VMI mode of Company B,this article designs the integrated VMI logistics outsourcing scheme of Company B,formulates the evaluation and selection criteria,operation and management mechanism of VMI service providers,and puts forward suggestions on the exit management of VMI service providers.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of integrated VMI logistics outsourcing,this article puts forward safeguard measures from the aspects of system process,information system,personnel allocation,quality inspection,etc.This article collects and analyzes the data of logistics project introduction and logistics management performance before and after integrated VMI logistics outsourcing,and verifies the positive impact of integrated VMI logistics outsourcing on project introduction and logistics performance of Company B.The integrated VMI logistics outsourcing strategy is the exploration and practice carried out by Company B to adapt to the changes in the competitive environment.Its ideas and methods are worth promoting to other automobile manufacters in the group,and can also provide reference for other enterprises in the same industry.
