With the development of technology and urban construction, people can choose more and more diversified modes of transportation. As an important carrier to solve the last few kilometers, the shared two-wheeled electric scooter is favored by more and more users because of its advantages of convenient use, small size and high degree of freedom. However, there is still a lot to be improved in the functional experience of two-wheeled electric scooters in the shared situation. The appearance level also lacks the modeling beauty that is in line with product characteristics and the consideration of users’ emotional needs. Therefore, there is still a lot of points for optimization in the design of two-wheeled electric scooters.Based on context theory, this dissertation will explore and practice Kansei design method of campus shared two wheel electric scooters. The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the basic method of literature analysis, this dissertation sorted out Context Theory,Kansei Engineering and Quantitative theory type Ⅰ,discussed the possibility and related advantages of the integration of the theories and methods above, and proposed the optimal design path of campus shared two wheel electric scooter by integrating the context theory and Kansei Engineering. Then the structure, technology, appearance and function trend of the current two-wheeled electric vehicle are analyzed, and the target scene of this topic is determined based on the relevant investigation of user groups and scenes.(2)This dissertation disassembled and analyzed the user, product and environmental factors in the two wheel electric scooter service situation, sorted out the interaction process of target users in the shared situation, extracted the corresponding functional experience needs through four steps of context preparation, context construction, context reading and context improvement, and built the product context demand optimization model.(3)Combining Kansei Engineering and Quantitative theory type Ⅰ,the Kansei evaluation and regression equations of each design category of shared two wheel electric scooter were fitted, and the Kansei appearance optimization model of the product was output.Combined with the product context demand optimization model, this dissertation guided the optimization design of the campus shared two wheel electric scooter in the functional experience layer and the perceptual appearance layer, and carried out the corresponding design practice and evaluation. This dissertation integrates multiple methods of traditional Kansei engineering, satisfies users’ emotional needs for the appearance of shared two wheel electric scooters on the basis of optimizing the shared experience, provides a complete design and research process for the overall optimzation of shared two wheel electric scooters on campus, and expands the direction for the design and development of similar products.
