| Manufacturing is the pillar industry of China’s economy,an important indicator to measure China’s economic strength,directly reflecting the production level of China’s real economy,and is the pillar of national competitiveness.With the continuous emergence of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence,blockchain,and big data,accelerating the process of global integration and promoting the further refinement of product division of labor,the international manufacturing industry tries to use core technology control,etc.,to limit the innovation behavior of Chinese manufacturing enterprises to peripheral non-core modules and low-level architecture replication product segments,in order to cope with the dilemma of low-end locking in the international value chain and the uncertainty caused by market changes,improving product innovation capabilities is the key to China’s manufacturing enterprises to enhance the status of the value chain and comprehensive competitiveness.Under the rapid economic development,innovation resources are still the basis for manufacturing enterprises to carry out product innovation.Although China’s manufacturing enterprises rely on their own resource endowments and resource management capabilities to achieve rapid development,with the acceleration of digital process,enterprise resources have shown new characteristics,and the exploration and management methods of resources in the past are difficult to adapt to the current era of enterprise innovation and development strategy,resulting in enterprises are difficult to achieve high-quality development and lack of international competitive advantage.Therefore,how to help manufacturing enterprises seize opportunities under the wave of digitalization to break through the dilemma of low-end locking in the value chain,cultivate new characteristics of enterprise resources,and innovate resource management capabilities has become the key to the development of manufacturing enterprises in China.At present,some studies have made theoretical analysis of the influencing factors and implementation paths of product innovation,but the research perspective is mostly based on the level of enterprise management capabilities,ignoring the multidimensional changes of enterprise innovation resources and resource management capabilities in the digital era,and at the same time,the innovation direction of product innovation mostly focuses on the single architecture level of products,and lacks detailed exploration of each component module of complex products.Therefore,this paper first systematically sorts out the connotation,influencing factors and implementation paths of product innovation of manufacturing enterprises from the perspective of digitalization,analyzes the new characteristics,resource management capabilities and product innovation concepts and composition of enterprise innovation resources under digitalization,breaks through the previous research perspective of only the heterogeneity characteristics of enterprise resources,and explores the characteristics of product innovation resources from the perspective of digitalization.Secondly,it changes the single perspective of product innovation research in the past,and refines it into product module innovation and architecture innovation based on the perspective of changing the degree of innovation of product components,so as to enrich the research horizon.According to the performance characteristics of each innovation type,BP neural network is used to simulate and predict to determine the superior innovation type and degree of enterprise under different resource scenarios and capability conditions,and further constructs the SEM model to obtain three types of product module/architecture innovation paths,and at the same time uses the Bootstrap method to test the mediating effect,analyzes the mediating role played by resource management capabilities,and uses the configuration analysis method to verify the path,reflecting the forward-looking,refined,accurate and unique nature of the research.Thirdly,AHP analytic hierarchy method,LDA subject word analysis,two-mode network and other methods are used to scientifically design the implementation strategy according to the above obtained product module/architecture innovation path type,and according to the applicable conditions and path matching judgment indicators of each type of enterprise product innovation,the method of combining Vague set theory and Topsis thought is used to provide the best adaptation path for manufacturing enterprises of applicable product module/architecture innovation type.Finally,manufacturing enterprise A is selected as the empirical research object,the current resource base status and capacity development level of the enterprise are analyzed,and its adaptation to the innovation type is determined accordingly,and the specific realization path of innovation is further determined and the implementation guarantee strategy is proposed,which provides theoretical examples and scientific guidance for Chinese manufacturing enterprises to achieve product innovation.This paper provides an effective theoretical basis and reference significance for product innovation of manufacturing enterprises,provides accurate analysis for how enterprises can use innovation resources and resource management capabilities to improve product module/architecture innovation performance under digitalization,deepens the theoretical understanding of product innovation of manufacturing enterprises in the digital era,and provides effective guidance for Chinese manufacturing enterprises to achieve efficient development of product innovation and climb the international value chain. |
