Digital servitization has become an important element in the research field of servitization and digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises,and is an important concept to explain the dual transformation of digitalization and servitization.Digital servitization transformation has overturned the traditional value creation logic of manufacturing enterprises,however,the existing research on digital servitization mainly focuses on the definition of concepts and transformation paths,and less research has been conducted to explore the value creation mechanism in the transformation process,and the realisation and evolution mechanism of value creation is still not very clear.Therefore,this paper studies the value creation path and effect of digital servitization transformation from the perspective of resource orchestration,and enriches the relevant research on digital servitization transformation of enterprises.This paper adopts a case study approach,taking the continuous digital service transformation practice of Oppein as an example,to explore how to promote value creation and its effects through effective resource scheduling behaviour in the process of digital service transformation of manufacturing enterprises.This paper establishes an analytical framework of motive→resource structuring→resource bundling capability generation→resource utilisation→value realisation,based on which the research design is carried out,rich first-hand secondary information is collected through diversified channels and data processing is carried out;and the stages of its transformation are divided into single-point breakthrough stage,architecture platform digitalisation stage and digital service ecology stage according to the key event nodes of its enterprise development,in Based on this,a case study was conducted to analyse the value creation path of digital service transformation from the perspective of resource orchestration,to derive a value creation model for digital service transformation of manufacturing enterprises,and to analyse the effect of value creation through financial performance and non-financial performance.The study finds that:first,in the continuous digital servitization transformation process of single point breakthrough-architecture platform digitization-digital service ecology,enterprises adopt the appropriate resource orchestration behaviour to achieve value creation at each stage;second,in the process of digital servitization transformation,enterprises’ value creation paradigm realizes product value-Third,in terms of the value creation effect of the transformation,the digital service transformation has improved the financial and non-financial performance of the enterprise.Accordingly,this paper proposes a model of the evolution mechanism of value creation in the digital service transformation of manufacturing enterprises from the perspective of resource orchestration,which,to a certain extent,opens up the "black box" of how to achieve value creation through effective management and allocation of resources in the digital service transformation of enterprises,enriches the case studies related to the value creation of digital service transformation of manufacturing enterprises,and has a positive impact on This paper provides an in-depth study on the role and mechanism of resource orchestration in the process of digital service transformation,and contributes to the development of the theory of resource orchestration and value creation in the context of digital service transformation;in terms of practice,this paper provides a typical case of a leading enterprise in the household industry creating value through digital service transformation,improving its market competitiveness and helping its growth,and offers practical insights from three perspectives:strategy renewal,technology adoption and capacity building.The paper also provides practical insights from three perspectives:strategy renewal,technology adoption and capability building,providing practical guidance for the digital service transformation of enterprises and helping manufacturing enterprises to better understand the importance of digital service transformation and thus realize value creation and high-quality development.
