The Study On Rent Subsidies For Public Housing Based On Disability Differences

The housing problem has always been the focus of attention of all members of society,especially in order to guarantee the housing problems of low and middle income people.Therefore,the country continues to build the indemnification housing system to improve the housing problems of low and middle income people.However,China’s public rental housing system is still in the exploratory stage,and there are still many links that need to be improved.Centering on the research focus of this paper,the rent subsidy system of public rental housing does not fully take into account the differences between families with disabilities and families with normal people,which also results in the imperfections of the rent subsidy system.Therefore,this paper studies differentiated rent subsidy policies based on disabled families and normal families in X public rental housing community.In this paper,the income and expenditure of the two types of families in X public rental housing community from 2015 to 2020 are used as research data to determine the difference in housing affordability between the two types of families.Then,the upper limit of housing expenditure of the two types of families is calculated.The results show that disabled families and normal families in the same subsidy bracket,disabled families need about 10 percentage points more rent subsidy than normal families.Finally,combined with the conclusion of the analysis,this paper puts forward the existing problems and several suggestions,aiming to provide some reference significance for the improvement of the construction of public rental housing system.
