| Fossil energy is the foundation of industrial development and is of great significance to ensure national energy security. Now,China is facing the severe problem of shortage of important energy resources, and the proposal of "carbon neutrality" makes the environmental pollution in the process of fossil energy exploitation more important. At present,China is vigorously promoting the transformation of energy structure, but fossil energy remains an important pillar of the energy system in the short term.In this context,it has certain policy significance to understand the comprehensive operation of China’s fossil energy mining industry. This study divides China’s fossil energy mining industry into oil-gas mining industry and coal mining industry, makes a comparative analysis of China’s fossil energy mining industry and the above sub-sectors from three aspects: net energy output, environmental pollution and economic benefits. On this basis, this study uses the combination of factor analysis(FA)and principal component analysis(PCA)to weight the selected indicators, and obtains the comprehensive evaluation results of China’s fossil energy mining industry and its sub-sectors.According to the calculation results of this study: from 2005 to 2016,the overall fluctuation range of the comprehensive evaluation results of oil and gas mining industry, coal mining industry and the whole fossil energy mining industry is not large, and the comprehensive evaluation results of oil and gas mining industry are always better than that of coal mining industry. After 2016,the comprehensive evaluation results of oil and gas mining industry, coal mining industry and the whole fossil energy mining industry began to improve continuously, indicating that China’s fossil energy mining industry and its sub-sectors are in benign development. |
