Today,with the rapid development of social technology,the running speed and load capacity of rail vehicles are constantly improving,which puts forward higher standard requirements for the installation and use of bolt connection hoisting equipment on rolling stock.If the bolt connection failure occurs in the hoisting equipment,it will threaten the safe operation of the vehicle.In order to ensure the normal operation of vehicles,it is necessary to analyze and evaluate the bolt connection strength of rail vehicle hoisting equipment,and find out the key influencing factors of bolt connection strength from the evaluation process,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the evaluation of bolt connection structure.The main contents of this paper are as followsFirstly,it introduces the development status of bolt strength check,bolt types at home and abroad,the research situation of bolt preload,and the strength theory and calculation method needed for bolt check.Secondly,the bolt connection structure of the battery hoisting equipment on an export metro vehicle is selected as the research object,the finite element model of the bolt connection structure of the battery hoisting equipment is established by using HyperMesh software,and the finite element simulation analysis of the equipment is carried out by using ANSYS finite element analysis software.Thirdly,after comparing the traditional mechanical design standard,the calculation method of bolt connection design and the bolt fastener standard(VDI 2230 standard)used successively by developed countries such as Germany,the VDI 2230 standard with more comprehensive factors is selected to check the bolt strength of battery hoisting equipment according to the basic data and calculation conditions provided by the main engine factory.Fourthly,due to a large number of parameters and formulas involved in the evaluation process of VDI 2230 standard,the calculation is complex,which makes the use of theoretical methods to evaluate the strength of bolt connection a huge workload and time-consuming,Based on VDI 2230 standard,the automatic strength checking system for connecting bolts of locomotive and rolling stock is realized.Fifthly,in order to study the influence of the key parameters on the evaluation results in the bolt connection strength evaluation,the key parameters are analyzed and calculated by using the developed locomotive and vehicle bolt strength checking system.At the same time,three groups of bolt models with single variable are created.By changing the number of transverse load transfer interfaces in the three groups of models,the influence of parameter changes on the bolt connection strength checking results is explored.Sixth,the solid model of bolt connection structure in battery hoisting equipment is established,and the strength of bolt connection structure is evaluated by finite element method.The similarities and differences between VDI 2230 standard and finite element method are compared and analyzed.
