In the rapid development process of water conservancy and hydropower engineering construction in China, the scale of underground caverns is becoming larger and larger. However, due to the harsh construction environment of underground caverns and the unsafe behavior of construction personnel, safety accidents occur from time to time, and the safety management situation is still very severe. How to effectively reduce and avoid unsafe behaviors of construction personnel has become an urgent problem in the field of underground cavern construction safety.Researches have shown that job stress is an important factor leading to unsafe behavior.Underground cavern construction personnel face numerous sources of job stress. If they are under long-term stress,it not only affects the occupational health level of construction personnel, but also easily induces unsafe behavior, leading to the occurrence of safety accidents. Therefore,it is necessary to take underground cavern construction personnel as the research object, analyze the potential influence of job stress on unsafe behavior,in order to formulate targeted psychological intervention measures and unsafe behavior prevention strategies for construction personnel, and provide theoretical basis for strengthening the safety management of underground cavern construction and human factor risk prevention.Firstly, this paper starts from the current research status of job stress and unsafe behavior, based on the characteristics of the underground cavern construction industry and common types of safety accidents in water conservancy and hydropower projects, combined with the results of questionnaire survey and expert interviews, identifies 4 dimensions of job stress for underground cavern construction personnel, namely job characteristic stress, interpersonal relationship stress, career development stress, and family environment stress, and identifies 11 main unsafe behaviors.Based on the analysis of the direct influence of job stress on unsafe behavior among underground cavern construction personnel of and the mediating role of emotional exhaustion and risk perception, relevant research hypotheses on job stress, unsafe behavior, emotional exhaustion, and risk perception were proposed.Based on the above research,a theoretical model of the influence of job stress on unsafe behavior among underground cavern construction personnel was established.Secondly, according to the research results,an initial scale of job stress, unsafe behavior, emotional exhaustion, and risk perception for underground cavern construction personnel was developed and selected.Through distributing questionnaires to participants in 10 large and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower projects in Sichuan Province and Yunnan Province,a total of 372 valid questionnaires were received.Using SPSS25.0 software to conduct reliability testing and exploratory factor analysis on the valid questionnaire data,a job stress scale for underground cavern construction personnel with 4 dimensions and 15 items was ultimately formed,as well as a single dimension and 10 items of unsafe behavior scale containing the main types of accidents. Then, using AMOS24.0 software to conduct confirmatory factor analysis on the valid questionnaire data, and the relevant indicators met the requirements of statistical testing, indicating that the sample data validity test passed. Finally, based on the research hypotheses and the valid questionnaire data,a structural equation model was constructed to investigate the influence of job stress on unsafe behavior among underground cavern construction personnel.Using AMOS24.0 software for model fitting and evaluation, observe the influence relationship and intensity between variables. The research results indicate that the influence of job characteristic stress, family environment stress, career development stress, and interpersonal relationship stress on job stress decreases in sequence;Job stress not only has a significant direct influence on unsafe behavior, but can also indirectly affect unsafe behavior through the mediating effect of emotional exhaustion and risk perception,as well as the chain mediating effect of emotional exhaustion and risk perception. Finally, based on the research results of the model, the relationship between variables and the prevention path of unsafe behavior were analyzed, and targeted suggestions were proposed for the safety management of underground cavern construction. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the management of job stress and unsafe behavior in the field of safety in underground cavern construction...
