| The fact that the employer initiatively sets the terms of the flexible contract in the project is that the employer has the intention of trust, expecting the contractor to reciprocate, and the trust perceived by the contractor will directly affect the reciprocity of the contractor. However, there is no relevant research on the influence of contractor’s trust perception on their reciprocal behavior in the field of engineering projects.Taking this as the starting point, this paper supplements the contractor’s trust perception into the overall analysis framework of the trust of both parties.Based on the spiral reinforcement model of trust and reciprocity, this study defined the connotation of the contractor’s trust perception and the contractor’s reciprocity behavior, and divided the contractor’s trust perception into four dimensions:authorization perception, fairness perception, support perception and the characteristics of bilateral relationship through factor analysis. At the same time, according to the existing research, the sub-dimensions of the above four dimensions are found out,the research hypothesis of the influence of contractor’s trust perception on contractor’s reciprocity behavior is proposed, and the conceptual model is constructed. The proposed research hypothesis is tested by regression analysis.Secondly, the balance reciprocity behaviors of the contractors in the four stages of contract negotiation/signing,construction/performance,modification and payment and settlement are described respectively.Based on the collected data, the regression analysis is adopted to find out the influence differences of trust perception and each dimension on the reciprocity behaviors of the contractors in different stages. Finally, the single factor variance method was used to make multiple comparisons among the three histological characteristic variables of enterprise type, project size and position,to find out the significant differences in the classification of each variable.Through data analysis, the main results of this study are as follows :(1)trust perception and its dimensions positively affect the contractor’s balanced reciprocity behavior.Among them, the influence of perceived authorization is the most significant, and the influence of characteristics of bilateral relationship is the least.(2)trust perception positively affects contractors’ reciprocity at different stages. It is worth noting that trust perception has the highest influence on the reciprocal behavior in the contract negotiation phase and the lowest influence on the reciprocal behavior in the change phase.(3)private enterprises’ trust perception and reciprocity are at the highest level, while local state-owned enterprises’ trust perception and reciprocity are at the lowest level. When the project size is small, the contractor’s trust perception and reciprocity behavior are low, which is reflected in: the group with the investment of no more than 30 million yuan for a single project is significantly lower than other groups, while other groups have no significant difference; When the difference in trust perception is not significant, the project manager is more likely to engage in reciprocal behavior, that is,the difference in trust perception is not significant among people in different positions, while the reciprocity behavior of the project manager is significantly higher than that of other groups. |
