With the continuous development of the international cruise market,travelling by cruise has increasingly prevailed during Chinese.However,in the fierce international cruise market competition,China has not yet mastered the ability of large cruise ships independent design and construction calculations.Therefore,in order to master the technology of autonomous construction of large cruise ships and participate in the competition in the international market as soon as possible,the research on the design method of the central hall is one of the tasks that must be overcome.Due to special functional requirements,the structure of the central hall is complicated,including large-span decks,large deck openings,pillars instead of bulkhead supports,etc.How to organically integrate a variety of typical structures is currently facing difficult problem.Carrying out research on the design method of the central hall can provide a reference for the independent design and construction of large cruise ships,and is of great significance to the development of cruise industry.This paper takes the central hall of large cruise ships as the research object,based on the analysis of the structural characteristics of the central hall,adopts the method of combining experiment and numerical simulation,carried out a research on the design method of the central hall of large cruise ships.The main work is as follows:(1)Summarized the research status of the central hall structure of large cruise ships,and sorted out the relevant research results of three typical structures in the central hall structure.(2)Summarized the functional characteristics of the central hall structure of a large cruise ship.Carried out the finite element modeling and calculation of the whole ship,extracted the stress and deformation distribution of the central hall structure.Carried out fine modeling of the local structure and embed the original whole ship model,compared the calculation difference of the coarsening-fine mesh of finite element model,and verified the validity of the coarsening mesh model calculation.(3)A direct calculation method for large cruise ship atrium is proposed.Compared with the whole ship calculation,the method has better calculation efficiency,which provides a reference for the rapid design of large cruise ship atrium.(4)Taking the side continuous opening structure of the central hall as the object,the ultimate load test under two-way load is designed,and the failure mode and failure history of the side opening structure under the two-way load are obtained through the combination of test and simulation.Parametric simulation calculations are carried out on the relationship between the opening ratio of the side structure and the ultimate strength of the structure.(5)Taking the large-span deck with openings model in the central hall as the object,through parametric finite element simulation analysis,the influence of various design factors such as opening ratio,opening shape,plate thickness,and pillar layout on the ultimate bearing capacity of the deck is explored.
