Study On Landscape Design Of Nanjing Diaoyutai Pocket Park From The Perspective Of Regional Culture

Since the reform and opening up,the degree of urbanization in China has continued to increase,the growth rate of urban population has continued to accelerate,and the density of buildings in the city has increased rapidly.As a result,the original natural ecological space has been occupied by high-rise buildings,and the contradiction between urban land use has become more tense.Residents living in the old city It has to face the current situation of lack of green public activity space,or the inconvenience of green space for residents to use,which directly affects residents’ lifestyle and quality of life.Because pocket parks are small in scale and flexible in setting,arranging them in all corners of the old urban area can not only increase the proportion of urban green,but also improve land utilization,provide residents with space for daily activities,and better meet people’s needs.However,in the process of designing pocket parks,many designers neglected to study the regional characteristics and unique styles of parks,resulting in the appearance of pocket parks in many places showing the same look and feel.Therefore,in addition to paying attention to the green return function of the pocket park,it is also necessary to deepen the discussion on the fusion of local cultural elements and the design of the pocket park.The research of this paper starts from this.This paper first studies and analyzes the research background and significance of pocket parks,explores the importance and necessity of analysis and research,and formulates an overall framework according to the research content,summarizes the current research on pocket parks at home and abroad,and lays a theory for follow-up research.Base.Second,the article makes a theoretical overview around the two themes of regional culture and pocket parks,and then combines the two to explain the connection between regional culture and pocket parks,and gives methods to combine regional culture and pocket parks.Based on the above theoretical research background,this paper analyzes the strategies and highlights of the landscape design of pocket parks at home and abroad,in order to find a way of landscape design that is more suitable for Nanjing’s regional culture and pocket parks.Third,this paper discusses how to carry out the landscape design of pocket parks in the old city under the background of regional culture from three aspects: the design strategy of using regional cultural elements,the design strategy of improving the function of landscape space,and the design strategy of meeting the aesthetic needs of the public.Finally,the representative regional culture of Nanjing is summarized,based on practice,the surrounding environment of Diaoyutai in Qinhuai District,Nanjing City is investigated,and then the design is carried out according to the surrounding environment,natural conditions,and internal environment of the site combined with the theoretical knowledge and experience summarized above.Practice and interpret the design scheme.Through this theoretical and practical research,it can be concluded that as an emerging urban public green space,pocket parks will play a greater potential in the future,helping our city to become the best livable place.
