Plate-reinforced composite(PRC)coupling beam is a new type of coupling beam which is composed of flat plate in reinforced concrete coupling beam.It has higher bearing capacity, stronger energy dissipation capacity, better plasticity and deformation ability. However,In the actual construction process, most of the coupling beams were often poured with the slab as a whole, and the slab could restrain the force and deformation of the side coupling beam. But so far,the research on PRC coupling beam with RC slab was not comprehensive at home and abroad,so in this paper, the experimental research and theoretical analysis of seismic performance were carried out,and the main work and main achievements were as follows:(1)The pseudo-static test of five PRC coupling beam specimens(four them with RC slab and one without RC slab)were made and completed, described the crack development and final failure mode of coupling beam and slab,at the same time, analyzed the hysteretic, energy dissipation, ductility, intensity attenuation and stiffness degradation of coupling beam.We reaserched the affecting factors which influenced the seismic performance of PRC coupling beams, the factors are include slab, slab type, steel plate ratio and span-to-depth ratio. The experimental results indicate that the shear bearing capacity and energy dissipation of PRC coupling beam was increase significantly with steel plate and slab setting.Slotted RC slab could reduced the damage of slab before loading.(2)The finite element simulation of five specimens tested by ABAQUS software was carried out,and the distribution of concrete stress of coupling beam, steel bar stress of coupling beam and slab, shear force and bending moment of steel plate were analyzed.A large number of parameter expansions were carry out,This paper mainly studies the effect factors of span-to-depth ratio, steel plate ratio, longitudinal reinforcement ratio, concrete compressive strength and slab reinforcement ratio on the seismic behavior of PRC coupling beams with RC slab.and mainly analyzes their shear capacity and ductile performance. The results indicate that span-to-depth ratio, steel plate ratio, concrete compressive strength and slab are major factors which impact on the seismic behavior of PRC coupling beams with RC slab, compared with other factors, stirrups reinforcement ratio and slab reinforcement ratio have little effect.(3)Based on the softened strut-and-tie model of reinforced concrete and the multi-strip model of steel plate, the theoretical calculation formula of the shear capacity of small span height ratio PRC beam with RC slab is proposed, the theory results of finite element simulation and test are compared with those of the softened strut-and-tie model.Good agreement between finite element simulation, test results and prediction results is achieved.proved that it is reasonable to use this method to calculate the shear capacity of small-to-depth ratio PRC coupling beam with RC slab.
