With the development of my country’s social economy and becoming a major industrial manufacturing country,the proportion of large trucks on highways in our country is increasing,especially in some economically developed areas,where the proportion of trucks on highways has exceeded 50%.Because passenger and freight vehicles have significant differences in body size,quality and operating characteristics,if various vehicles are mixed in each lane,it will inevitably have an adverse impact on the traffic safety and operating efficiency of the expressway,which is not conducive to traffic management and purification.Traffic flow is also not suitable for the lane-level management and control of future smart traffic.Therefore,it is necessary to study the method of expressway lane division based on the definition of lane function.Based on the analysis of the basic traffic characteristics of highway models,this paper analyzes the impact of trucks on the highway on the safety and efficiency of traffic operation,proposes the definition of lane functions and the necessity and basis for highway lane division,and then proposes large and small Two lane function division methods: lanes and passenger and truck lanes.According to the index selection principles of the evaluation system,an evaluation system for expressway lane function division was established,evaluation indexes were selected,and evaluation criteria were determined;by summarizing and comparing the characteristics and applicability of commonly used multi-index comprehensive evaluation methods,the comprehensive weighting method was selected as The evaluation method of expressway lane function division uses the subjective weighting method to determine the weight of the first-level index,and the standard deviation method to determine the weight of the second-level index,and then calculates the comprehensive evaluation value.A simulation model of a multi-lane expressway was constructed,combined with the average speed of each vehicle type on the actual road and the 10-minute section flow data and compared with the simulation experiment,and the model parameters were corrected and verified to ensure the validity of the simulation experiment.Based on different lane functions,a representative two-way six-and eight-lane expressway lane function division schemes were proposed.The traffic simulation software was used to simulate the lane function division schemes under different traffic conditions,and the comprehensive evaluation value of each scheme was obtained.,The scheme with the largest comprehensive evaluation value is the recommended scheme for lane function division.For the two-way eight-lane expressway lane division scheme,the influence of different longitudinal slopes on the recommended lane division scheme is analyzed.The research results can provide technical support for future traffic operation and traffic management.
