| With the rapid development of science and technology,applications such as cloud computing and big data have begun to enter all walks of life,and the demand for data center services has become increasingly strong.V company is a research and development and manufacturing enterprise of UPS power supply equipment for data centers with a long history.In the research and development of UPS power supply,after decades of development,it has developed multiple generations of products.However,in recent years,due to the market’s demand for intelligent,high-efficiency,high-power density,and high-reliability UPS power supply products,the difficulty and challenges of new product development have increased dramatically.In recent years,when the company is researching and developing new products,the project progress has often been greatly delayed,and the product quality performance has also begun to decline.Aiming at the status quo of V company’s new product research and development,combined with knowledge theories such as project management and process management learned in MBA courses,researched domestic and foreign testing technology and process improvement related literature,combined with process improvement,integrated product development,technical review and other theories,passed Statistical analysis of the company’s historical data in recent years shows that there are two main problems in the current new product testing process of Company V:one is that the test cycle in the development stage is too long,and the other is that the test quality in the development stage is unstable.Then use the brainstorming method,fishbone diagram method,5M1E method,and Pareto method to find out the three main causes of the problem:First,the test process is not clear in stages,and the management of test rounds is chaotic.The second is that the test cases are relatively rigid,and all projects use fixed test templates,which are not effective enough,resulting in many problems not being discovered in advance,and the quality of the development stage is not convergent.The third is that the self-test process lacks standardization,and the quality of the self-test is completely controlled by the project team,which is often simplified due to lack of manpower and schedule pressure.Then use the method of combining ECRS and ESIA to formulate an improvement plan:First,adjust the improved multi-round prototype test and regression test to several large rounds of tasks:initial sample test,problem verification test,positive sample test,and regression test,and for each activity,strict access conditions are imposed.The second is to add a test case review sub-process to make test cases more targeted and practical.The third is to standardize the self-test requirements to expose more product defects in the early stage.The fourth is to add a number of technical review links,so that the management of the test activities is under control.Finally,for the improved test process,the implementation planning and guarantee requirements are put forward,so that the improved test process can be implemented in the actual operation in the future.Aiming at the practical problems existing in the new product testing process of V company,the paper puts forward suggestions for improvement in line with the current new product testing process of V company.The improvement plan proposed in this paper provides a useful exploration for the new product testing process of V company and product testing in the power supply industry,and has good practical application value. |
