Under the background of the "14th Five-Year Plan",forklifts,as indispensable equipment in industry,warehousing,commerce,construction and other industries,are also facing highquality development needs in the field of industrial design.User-centered forklift design is very necessary.The paper takes the electric counterbalanced forklift as the research object,takes the FBS model design method as the theoretical guidance,explores the design method system of the FBS model for the electric counterbalanced forklift,builds the FBS model framework of the electric counterbalanced forklift,and sorts out a set of industrial design method processes to guide design practice.The specific content is as follows:First,sort out the types,characteristics and operating specifications of electric counterbalanced forklifts,sort out the FBS model design method theory,and clarify the usercentered "function-behavior-structure" design model.Secondly,conduct research on user needs,and use observation,interview and other research methods to capture user needs.The attribute analysis and prioritization of user needs are carried out through the analytic hierarchy process,which provides guidance and reference for follow-up research.Combining user demand summary and pain point scenario analysis,complete the transformation from demand to product function.Then,analyze the mapping factors of the FBS model of the electric counterbalanced forklift,build the expected behavior of the forklift based on the function identification of the forklift,screen the structural scheme of the forklift,deduce the actual behavior of the structure,compare and evaluate it with the expected behavior,complete the establishment of the FBS model of the electric counterbalanced forklift,and output the design strategy.Finally,referring to the research content and the constructed FBS model,the industrial design practice of the electric counterbalanced forklift is carried out.The steps include design positioning,intention expression,draft divergence,using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to obtain the scheme with the highest degree of subordination to the design requirements,and completing the refinement and display of the final scheme.The innovation of this paper is to apply the design method based on the FBS model to the industrial design of electric counterbalanced forklifts.Through the research of user needs,the AHP is used to complete the integration and definition of design requirements,and the FBS model of electric counterbalanced forklifts is constructed.According to the FBS model,the user-centered design strategy and method of electric counterbalanced forklifts are proposed to provide a new research perspective for the development of industrial design of electric counterbalanced forklifts.
