| Accelerating digital transformation and empowering advanced manufacturing with digitalization is an important path for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry,and also a key measure to raise the country’s manufacturing power.For manufacturing enterprises,digital transformation means to embed digital technology into all aspects of its business process,overcoming difficult points,defining key-points,and eliminating choke points,and hence the realization of fast,smooth and efficient collaboration of the whole business process and improvement of the operation efficiency of the entire manufacturing enterprise.As a subsidiary of LS Group,LS Heat Exchange Company has built up several information systems and business processes in accordance with LS Group’s informatization construction and development planning,but along with these systems comes isolated islands of information,resulting in the unsmooth operation of business processes.Poor business process operation has begun to restrict the high-quality development of LS Heat Exchange Company,which makes the digitalbased business process optimization a matter of great urgency for enterprises to achieve goals of high-quality development in the context of digital transformation of enterprises.Taking LS Heat Exchange Company as the research object,this paper analyzes the current situation of the company’s business process through the interview investigation and indicates all kinds of problems existing in different phases of business processes including closed loop of data,customers management,business operation,business partnership,data support and standardization of whole process.By analyzing the problems and summarizing the root causes of the problems,this paper based on the actual development of the enterprise and existing problems proposes the planning and implementation of three key tasks,which respectively are building up digital management mode of business,breaking down barriers between different business systems and establishing an enterprise digital collaboration platform.The dual-cycle model of "business-driven data and datadriven business" demands the capability of carrying out system integration,and explores digital-based business process optimization with data,and thereby eliminates isolated island of information in various business systems.The abovementioned ways will certainly contribute to the efficient coordination of internal operations of enterprises,the great improvement of digital management capabilities and the significant enhancement of enterprise operational efficiency.Finally,this paper puts forward four safeguard measures involving organization,talent,mechanism and capital to ensure the smooth implementation of the company’s digital-based business process optimization plan. |
