Research On The Application Of Cultural Elements Of Heritage Sites In The Landscape Design Of Urban Parks

Cultural heritage sites are testimony to the traces of human life over the generations and are the crystallisation of the wisdom of labour in all historical periods.Heritage and cultural heritage are non-renewable and irreplaceable resources of the best Chinese civilisation,carrying the genes and bloodline of the Chinese nation.In the process of urban development,the direction of development needs to be explored from the roots of the city as a correct guide,and the existence of heritage sites provides a strong support for this process.As the driving force of the city’s cultural values,heritage sites are the underpinnings of the city’s social development and a bridge for cultural exchange.As times change and cities develop,large-scale projects are destroying the spaces on which sites depend,and large-scale urban redevelopment projects are changing the environment of sites that have not been protected for years.The conflict between heritage sites and urban development lies in the relativity between large-scale urban expansion and the protection of the site’s environment,with the increase in land for urban construction leading to the destruction of the site and its surrounding ecological environment as construction progresses.The protection and development of cultural heritage sites in China started late,and the regulations for the protection of cultural heritage sites are still inadequate,resulting in a lack of capacity to protect them.Most of the conservation methods in China are in the form of heritage parks,which are one of the ways to effectively display and promote the culture of heritage sites.However,the construction of heritage parks in China is currently one-sided,highlighting a series of problems such as imperfect park construction,failure to fully reflect heritage culture,neglect of humanistic design,unreasonable planning and single function.How to integrate the overall planning concept of the city park under the premise of protecting the site,make it meet the needs of development,effectively play the landscape function of the site,and at the same time meet the functional needs of the public’s daily life,and give it new vitality,is an important issue to be solved nowadays.This thesis takes the landscape design of urban parks as the goal,takes the cultural elements of heritage sites as the grip,and takes Longshan Lake Park in Jinan as the practical object,and discusses in depth the landscape planning and design of urban heritage parks.Chapter 1 summarises the problems faced by China in the landscape design of heritage parks through an analysis of the background,purpose and significance of the study and the current situation of heritage site research at home and abroad,and clarifies the research ideas and key points of landscape design after sorting out the research content,methodology and the framework of the thesis.The second chapter summarises the cultural,social,ecological and aesthetic values of site and cultural park design through the study of relevant concepts such as heritage sites and urban parks,providing theoretical support and guidance for this research.The third chapter combines relevant case studies with a comprehensive analysis of the coordination between the landscape of heritage sites and urban development,further exploring the landscape design approach of heritage cultural parks and providing practical support for the landscape design of Longshan Lake Park.Chapter four focuses on the current situation and current problems of the Longshan Lake base,and makes targeted solutions to determine the feasibility of programme implementation and provide inspiration and direction for the design of the programme.Chapter 5 refines,reshapes,decomposes,reconstructs and replaces the site culture around Longshan Lake,innovating the form of site elements and subtly integrating them into the park’s site landscape design.The overall planning and design of Longshan Lake Park from the perspective of historical display,inheritance and development allows the humanistic elements of the site to be attached to the landscape space of the park,enriching the ways and connotations of the site civilisation and providing a positive exploration of the inheritance and promotion of the site civilisation and the preservation and development of the archaeological remains.
