Railway terminals are the core component of the entire railway network and undertake a large amount of traffic organization work.The reasonableness of railway terminal transportation organization is directly related to the smoothness of the whole railway network.Terminal transfer train as a link to railway terminal of various operations,reasonable and efficient terminal transfer train operation,not only can realize the rapid assembly and deconstruction of wagons in railway terminal;can also be closely coordinated with the freight stations’ loading and unloading plan,to ensure that the timely delivery of goods;and service to mainline trains,to ensure that the full-axis mainline trains depart on time.The train flow diagram is an important tool to assist in optimizing railway transportation organization in the actual railway operation.At present,railway survey and design personnel still use Auto CAD software hand-drawn the train flow diagram,the method has low efficiency,post-modification difficulties and other problems.Therefore,the paper investigates the collaborative optimization of terminal transfer trains and grouping station work plans at railway terminals and designs an auxiliary system for freight traffic organization at railway terminals.The main research contents of the paper are as follows.(1)The relationship between cargo flow,wagon flow and train flow is analyzed,as well as the basic overview of China’s railway terminals is described.On the basis of the analysis of the terminal traffic flow,the basic tasks and principles of the terminal traffic organization are determined.Detailed analysis of the working process of terminal transfer train s was conducted to summarize the factors affecting the operation of terminal transfer trains,including the number of locomotives used,the time and order of picking up and delivering the wagons,the number of vehicles made up and the path of the trains.(2)We analyzed the realtionship between train operation plan at the marshalling station and the organization of terminal transfer trains at the terminal,and described the operation of terminal transfer train and dynamic distribution of freight car flow at marshalling station as mathematical problems respectively.Specifically,we stated several hypothesis in line with reality and formulated mathematical model,of which the objective is to minimize the total operation cost and the total train dwelling time at stations.An improved simulated annealing algorithm is proposed and its effectiveness and efficiency are verified on computational experiments.(3)On the basis of sorting out the whole process of the railway terminal freight traffic organization auxiliary system,analyzing the business requirements,functional requirements and performance requirements of the system,the system functions are divided into five major functions of data management,heavy and empty traffic distribution,column flow preparation,column flow drawing and indicator statistics.(4)Determine the design objectives and principles of the railway terminal freight traffic organization auxiliary system,and on the basis of system requirements analysis,design the specific implementation of the railway terminal freight traffic organization auxiliary system.The system is divided into seven subsystems.The functional points of each subsystem are described in detail,and the database and user interface are designed.
