The acceleration of urbanization and the increasing number of vehicles cause the growing congestion in cities.As a category of public transportation with energy saving,high efficiency and large carrying capacity,urban rail transit(URT)can relieve the congestion.In recent years,China has been vigorously implementing URT construction projects.URT construction occupies a pivotal position in infrastructure construction in China.However,due to the particularity and complexity,URT construction projects will encounter challenges of various disruptive events.At present,the research related to disruption of URT construction project and the dynamic impact of these disruptive events is scarce.To bridge the research gap,this study aims to assess the impact of disruptive events of URT construction projects based on the theory of domino chain of accidents.Firstly,this study selected the ground collapse as a typical disruptive event to conduct the further analysis.This study proposed the impact assessment model of ground collapse and its domino accidents in the URT construction period from three aspects of safety,ecology and economy.Then,this study used the GUI function in MATLAB software to develop the impact assessment systems,hence the efficient and convenient analysis.Subsequently,taking the Yueji Park Station project of Zhengzhou Line 9 as a case,this study utilized Monte Carlo theory and computer simulation technology to calculate the probability of domino accidents caused by ground collapse.According to the calculation results and the established impact assessment model,the impacts of ground collapse and its domino accident were measured and the results were reflected via the impact assessment systems.Finally,according to the impact assessment results of the ground collapse and its domino accidents,this study formulated strategies for preventing,benchmarking and controlling disruptive events of URT construction projects.This study is an innovative application of multidisciplinary interdisciplinary technology in the field of infrastructure,enriching the research of URT projects.It provides reference for stakeholders to prevent and respond to the potential events of URT construction projects. |
