In recent years,the environmental problems of traditional industries have attracted much attention,and the construction of ecological civilization is urgent.In order to ensure that profits can maintain green growth,companies must consider the impact of environmental performance on them in the process of production,operation and management supervision.From the perspective of the impact of corporate environmental behavior on the environment,it is the traditional manufacturing industry that needs to be monitored.The most prominent ones are thermal power,steel,coal and other companies.Thermal power companies have both energy pillar industries and heavily polluting companies,and they are one of the main sources of my country’s three wastes.Therefore,the environmental performance evaluation of thermal power enterprises is indispensable.This paper constructs the environmental performance evaluation system for thermal power companies based on the GRI sustainability report standard,by integrating the production and operation process and the nature of heavy pollution in the thermal power industry.With a large number of environmental information data disclosed by thermal power companies,this paper uses the entropy method to calculate the weights of the indicators.By using the established evaluation system,this paper analyzes the actual data of G company’s environmental performance,and finds that the overall environmental performance level of G company before and after the merger and reorganization shows an upward trend.Nevertheless,the environmental performance score dropped suddenly in the year of merger and reorganization of G company,and the environmental performance level within 4 years after the merger and reorganization has not reached the peak standard before the reorganization.In terms of specific dimensions,G company’s environmental performance in energy and emissions is particularly significant,economic performance growth has slowed down,and training and education,as well as indirect economic impact,still need to be strengthened.At the indicator level,the performance of the plant power consumption rate and the comprehensive utilization rate of fly ash after the reorganization was mediocre,even lower than the thermal power industry average.The proportion of ultra-low emission units,coal consumption for power supply,soot,sulfur dioxide,and nitrogen oxide emissions performance rose year by year and performed better.
