Abstract/Summary:
The national “14th Five-Year Plan” proposes to “comprehensively improve the quality of the city and promote the high-quality development of the human settlement”.Park green space and residential space,as the core carriers of the human settlement environment,carry high-quality green ecological resources and basic living activities of residents.They are nested in space,coordinated or competitive in function,and have interaction effects.Revealing the spatial-temporal pattern of the two,exploring the interaction effects,and realizing the efficient and coordinated development is of great significance for the construction of a high-quality urban living environment.Following the logical main line of “constructing a framework system-exploring the spatial-temporal pattern-revealing the interaction effects-proposing optimization strategies”,the main urban area of Nanjing is selected as the research area,and the time sections of 2012,2017 and 2020 is used for research: the study constructs the index system of park green space and residential space;explores the spatial-temporal differentiation characteristics of park green space and residential space respectively by using Arc GIS,and spatial autocorrelation and Pearson correlation coefficient are used to quantitatively explore the spatial-temporal relationship;reveals the interaction effects between park green space and residential space by using Ordinary Least Squares and Geographically Weighted Regression basing on the theoretical analysis;proposes optimal strategies for the coordinated development of the two by zoning and classification.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The spatial-temporal pattern of park green space and residential space:(1)Both have significant spatial differentiation.The area of park green space is increasing generally,and the spatial-temporal pattern is “generally stable and locally significant”.The “point” and“line” type of small and medium-scale park green space rapidly increase,and the pattern tends to be balanced.The spatial differentiation of attributes of residential areas is stable.From the center of the main urban area to the periphery,the age of houses,plot ratio,and housing prices show an inverted “U”-shaped trend,while the greening rate,residential land area,and the number of households show a “U”-shaped trend;the supporting facilities of residential space show the spatial aggregation characteristics of “scattered point + linear +plane”,and the expansion from the center to the north-south direction of the main urban area is more significant.(2)The spatial autocorrelation of park green space and residential area:there is a significant positive correlation,the residential areas close to the park green space are clustered distribution,and the aggregation degree increases with the increase of the park green space scale.In terms of spatial-temporal evolution,the autocorrelation index of small and medium-scale park green space decreases significantly,and the spatial relationship is continuously optimizing between residential areas and park green space.(3)The spatialtemporal correlation between park green space and residential space attributes: the Pearson correlation coefficient decreases in a fluctuating manner,and the spatial relationship between the two tends to be dynamic equilibrium.The correlation between small-scale park green space and residential space first decreases and then increases,the correlation between medium-scale park green space and residential space gradually decreases,and the correlation between large-scale park green space and residential space generally increases.Park green space was originally highly correlated with neighborhood facilities and location conditions of residential space,and now correlates with internal attributes and socio-economic factors of residential area,and the degree and direction of the correlation fluctuate due to the changes in scale.(2)The spatial-temporal interaction effects between park green space and residential space:(1)Overall: the interaction effects weaken in a fluctuating manner,and the spatial pattern of influence gradually is becoming fragmented and mosaic.Park green space has a great impact on housing prices,residential facilities,and residential intensity;residential facilities and housing prices have a great impact on park green space.(2)Specifically: park green space-residential facilities is “overall coordination and partial competition”,under the guidance of the living circle,the improvement of residential facilities and the systematic construction of park green space promote positive synergy,and the lack of construction space in inner city leads to negative competition;park green space-the residential scale is “weak but increasing,large-scale interaction effects are greater”,the larger residential scale generates the demand for park green space,which is in positive synergy with the medium and large-scale park green space in Hexi New Town and the periphery of the main urban area;park green space-housing prices is “dynamically balanced,locally significant”,the value-added benefits of park green space are significant,and areas with high housing prices also promote the development of park green space,while the collage pattern of residential types maintains a dynamic balance of influence;the park green space-the residential intensity is “weakening as a whole,inner city interaction effects are smaller and peripheral are greater”,small-scale park green space in the inner city is easy to be inlaid with the highintensity residential space,while the landscape protection requirements of the larger-scale park green space in the periphery,the whole environmental coordination policy,and the complex residential types all weaken the interaction effect.(3)Propose optimal strategies for the coordinated development of park green space and residential space: the study bases on the spatial-temporal pattern and interaction effects,constructs multi-level,compound nested optimization strategies from different spatial areas in the main urban area.(1)Inner city: continue to increases potential park green space,and promotes livable “living circle”;(2)Hexi New Town: strengthens the coordination between residential space and park green space through the catalytic effect of park green space;(3)The periphery of the main urban area: improves the “two rings and four areas” structure of the green space system and coordinates regional differences.From the perspective of dynamic evolution and interaction,the study goes deep into different scale types of park green space and different attribute types of residential space,explores the spatial-temporal pattern and interaction effects,and proposes efficient and coordinated optimization strategies for the coordinated development of “residential space”and “park green space” by zoning and classification,provides scientific reference and theoretical support for promoting the high-quality construction of the human settlement.
