Abstract/Summary:
After the reform and opening up,China has built a large number of multistory houses without elevators. Now,the demand for installing elevators in old communities isbecoming stronger.Previous studies mostly focused on meeting the requirements of normal use,and less on the seismic performance of the connection. Therefore,it is necessary to further study and discuss the seismic performanceThe research object takes the external steel structure elevator hoistways of existing buildings. The existing buildings and elevator hoistway structures adopt the way of entering the house in half staggered floors, and the connection between the steel coupling beam and the rest platform beam of the existing building stairwell adopts the form of hinge.SAP2000 software is used for simulation.A 6-story frame structure and a 6-story shear wall structure with steel structure elevator are studied. There are 4 groups of 14 models of elevator hoistway structure added to existing frame structures. The interaction between the connection parts of these models under different lateral stiffness is obtained through time history analysis method, and the relationship between the lateral stiffness of different structural systems and the interaction of the connection parts is summarized. The results show that the interaction between the joints is axial force and vertical shear force. The stress of the connection part is positively related to the lateral stiffness of the existing building and the elevator shaft structure. When the existing building is a frame structure, the maximum axial force of the connection basically appears in the first floor, and the axial force in the range of 2-5 floors is smaller in the second and fifth floors, and larger in the third and fourth floors. When the existing building is a shear wall structure, the axial force at the connection will increase layer by layer and the maximum value will always appear on the top floor. In the case of a large earthquake,it is suggested that the shear wall structure can be referred to when adding elevators to masonry structure.Figure 51;Table 66;Reference 42...
