Research On The Composite Interior Design In University Museums

University museums are important in the overall museum system,located and managed by universities,and have the special nature of being open to the public.Compared to social museums,university museums are based on academic research and the display of research results,and are often cutting-edge,academic,experimental,niche and cross-border,which plays a complementary role to the museums in China.In recent years,the state has encouraged the construction of museums,which has led to a significant increase in the number and quality of museums in China.In this context,the way in which university museums interact with the urban cultural system,the influence of the cultural industry on the way university museums operate,and the demands placed on them by the public have all changed.As a result,contemporary university museums need a complete and systematic set of integrated design thinking to guide their own adaptation to modern needs and to achieve long-term development.This paper takes the university museum as the object of study,taking into account the contemporary trend towards the intensification of university campuses,and organises the various functional spaces in the university museum building so that they demonstrate efficiency and order.This model of university museums will change the traditional form of functional zoning design and move towards an intensive,high-density model.The emergence of this model is not only due to the contradiction between the intensive development of cities and the construction of universities,but also due to the call of students for the diversification of the spatial functions of university museums and the demand for cross-discipline,which is also the reason for the formation of the trend of intensification of university museums.Based on the above background,this article firstly proposes a composite space design strategy,using the concept of composite design to effectively integrate the multi-level functional positioning and multi-dimensional spatial patterns in the architectural space of university museums.The article firstly explains and summarises the research background,research purpose,research significance,relevant literature review and research methodology.Then,based on the development of university museums at home and abroad and the functions of modern university museums,the development trend of university museum compounding is explained.It also provides an exploratory discussion on the construction of the composite space of university museums.Finally,the Earth Science Museum of Hebei University of Geosciences is used as an empirical study to verify the feasibility of the theoretical research.The composite space design strategy is a necessary supplement to the modern university museum space design theory,and has contemporary guiding significance for design practice.
