| The aging population in our country is growing rapidly, and the health issues of the elderly have attracted social attention.More and more elderly people choose to use rehabilitation products to restore limb function through rehabilitation exercise training.Due to physiological and psychological changes, elderly people have different requirements for the functionality, innovation, and usage of rehabilitation products compared to ordinary people.Research has found that the existing elderly rehabilitation products have complex operating procedures and weak functional targeting. At the same time, the repetitive training process during rehabilitation activities is boring and tedious.Users can only achieve certain rehabilitation effects by persisting in training for a long time. However, elderly people are prone to negative psychology such as lack of enthusiasm and boredom during boring training, which easily leads to users abandoning rehabilitation products and making it difficult to achieve effective rehabilitation effects. The flow theory studies how users can achieve the best flow experience state in a certain activity and voluntarily maintain and enjoy this state.Introducing the flow theory into the design and development of elderly rehabilitation products can improve users’ enthusiasm for active rehabilitation training, stimulate the orderly’s enthusiasm for rehabilitation, and thus voluntarily cultivate the habit of long-term rehabilitation training. Therefore, the research in this article is guided by the theory of cardiac flow, exploring the design methods of elderly rehabilitation products driven by cardiac flow, paying attention to the needs of the elderly for rehabilitation products from physiological and psychological aspects, and reflecting the temperature and humanistic care of the design.Firstly, systematically review the literature related to flow theory and rehabilitation product design, master the theoretical knowledge required for research, and conduct user research on this basis to understand the physiological, psychological, behavioral patterns, and other characteristics of the elderly population.Analyze the needs of the elderly for the use of rehabilitation products, and extract the flow experience elements of the elderly during the rehabilitation exercise process, laying a solid foundation for subsequent design practice. Then, based on user needs and objective conditions, propose design principles for elderly rehabilitation products driven by cardiac flow, including safety principles, ease of use principles, simplicity principles, practicality principles, and adjustability principles;Based on the analysis of flow experience elements conducted in the early stage,an innovative design strategy for elderly rehabilitation products driven by flow was proposed, including clear and clear rehabilitation goals, timely and accurate feedback, rehabilitation tasks that meet user capabilities, good design performance, and an emotional rehabilitation experience.Furthermore, the PAT model for cardiac flow design was introduced, and from the dimensions of "human","tool",and "task",it was proposed that attention should be paid to user differences, product characteristics, and stages of cardiac flow factors in the design of rehabilitation products. This led to the construction of a design method and model for elderly rehabilitation products driven by cardiac flow, achieving the guidance of cardiac flow theory on the design method of elderly rehabilitation products. Finally, taking the design of an elderly lower limb rehabilitation training device as an example for design practice, the design scheme results were evaluated, and high user satisfaction evaluations were obtained, verifying the effectiveness and feasibility of the design method proposed in the article.By innovating the design of elderly rehabilitation training products,we meet the practical needs of elderly people for limb rehabilitation, expand the design ideas of elderly rehabilitation products, and provide theoretical and methodological references for the design of elderly rehabilitation products. |
