| With the improvement of people’s living standards,the market competition in the engineering and construction industry has become increasingly intensified.Performance management,as a management tool that connects enterprise strategy upwards and guides enterprise operation downwards,can provide a powerful starting point for B state-owned engineering enterprises.Formulate specific performance goals according to the corporate strategy,decompose and refine them to each level,and then guide the employees’ daily work direction and guidelines,establish a market-oriented compensation system,improve the incentive mechanism,stimulate the vitality of the talent team,and continuously strengthen the competitive advantage.This paper firstly conducts theoretical research on the concept,connotation,theoretical basis,main performance management methods of performance management,as well as the research situation of organizational performance management.Then take B state-owned engineering enterprise as the research object,interview some senior managers of B state-owned engineering enterprise,conduct a questionnaire survey on their employees,and analyze the problems existing in the performance management system of B state-owned engineering enterprise.It is mainly reflected in insufficient safeguards,unreasonable setting of assessment indicators and not covering individuals,insufficient application of assessment results,and emphasis on assessment over communication in the performance management process.In view of the problems in the performance management process of B State-owned Engineering Enterprises,combined with the relevant theoretical basis and practical experience,an optimization plan for the performance management system of B State-owned Engineering Enterprises is proposed:Implement safeguard measures for the enterprise performance management system,clarify performance management objectives,principles,responsibility systems,strengthen corporate culture construction,and build an information-based evaluation system,etc.;In terms of performance appraisal optimization,by focusing on corporate strategy and thinking deeply about business,we have designed performance appraisal indicators at all levels,corresponding weights and mandatory distribution requirements for appraisal grades;in the application of performance appraisal results,we have motivated talents by improving incentive mechanisms and eliminating and exiting mechanisms.Team vitality,improve employee competency through targeted training;Emphasize that the whole process of performance management strengthens communication,strives for the support and understanding of employees,guides employees to formulate performance goals and plans,analyzes the resources and support needed to achieve goals and provides guidance,and continuously optimizes performance management levels through the communication of problems during implementation,and continuously supports the organization’s strategy implementation and improvement.By optimizing the performance management system of B state-owned engineering enterprises,it can not only continuously improve employee performance and competency for B state-owned engineering enterprises to improve corporate performance,but also provide reference and reference for other similar enterprises,help them establish a scientific and effective performance management system,improve employees’ awareness of competition,enhance employees’ competence,fully mobilize employees’enthusiasm for work,tap employees’ potential,improve corporate performance,prevent corporate business risks,promote the healthy and stable development of enterprises,and achieve strategic goals. |
