Research On Development Strategy Of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport Under “One City,Two Airports”

With the continuous improvement of our people’s living standard,the demand for air transportation is more and more big,the original airport has been difficult to meet the growth of air transportation needs,there have been One city,two airports,Chengdu is the third city after Shanghai and Beijing.With the development of social economy,the transportation power construction program,“the Silk Road Economic Belt and the21st-Century Maritime Silk Road”,the implementation of Chengdu-based economic circle all indicate great potential for future development of Chinese air transport industry.how to position the airport in "One city,two airports",and what kind of development strategy is very important to the development of the enterprise.Therefore,it is necessary to study the strategic choice of airports in "One city,two airports".Taking Chengdu Shuangliu Airport as the research object,this paper analyzes the strategic choice of Chengdu Shuangliu Airport based on the background of "One city,two airports" by using strategic management theory and qualitative analysis.Firstly,it states the background and significance of studying the development strategy of Chengdu Shuangliu Airport,lists and summarizes the research status of relevant issues at home and abroad,and briefly introduces the research methods and contents used in this paper.Using SWOT analysis model,it proposes that Shuangliu Airport should adopt ST development strategy,namely: On the basis of achieving differentiation development,make full use of the airport’s own advantages,adopt diversified business model,to build effective regional aviation hub,gradually promote the transformation of operation and management quality,advance the iv airport innovation optimization,and finally,in view of the Chengdu Shuangliu airport ST development strategy of the implementation of the specific measures are put forward.The innovation of this paper lies in that: at present,the research objects of "one city,two airports" in China are mainly concentrated in Beijing and Shanghai,while the research of "one city,two airports" in Chengdu is less,and the strategic choices of Shuangliu Airport under the background of "one city,two airports" are even less.At the same time,there are many strategic studies on enterprise development,but relatively few strategic studies on enterprise development under the background of "one city,two airports".The global epidemic will hit in 2020,and the completion and operation of Chengdu Tianfu Airport in 2021 will be both opportunities and challenges for Chengdu Shuangliu Airport.Under this special background,the development strategy of Shuangliu Airport as an example can provide a unique research Angle and clear research direction.Through the analysis and research of this paper,it is concluded that Chengdu Shuangliu Airport has more challenges than opportunities,but the internal advantages of the enterprise are still relatively obvious.It is necessary to formulate a development strategy suitable for itself,give full play to its own advantages,and provide excellent,convenient services,high-quality hardware facilities.Establish a good brand to bring customers a good experience to reduce the price,airspace restrictions and other competitive products or substitutes brought threats.It is hoped that the research of this paper can provide some reference for Chengdu Shuangliu Airport and more "one city and two markets" operation in the future.
