In recent years, with the improvement of people’s living standards in China, the passenger flow is also increasing year by year.At the same time, passengers’ travel has higher and higher requirements for service quality.Improving the quality of passenger travel demand has become a necessary condition for enhancing the competitiveness of railway transportation.Due to the large number of cross-line passenger flows in China, not only the time requirements for passenger travel, but also the requirements for directness must be considered in the transportation organization. Therefore, the reasonable planning of train running time and the number of cross-line trains is essential for improving passenger flow.Transportation efficiency and transportation organization are of great significance. In this paper, the ideal train timetable to meet the needs of all passenger flows is the starting point, and the travel needs of passengers can be maximized by adjusting the origin and destination station of the train under the premise of meeting the driving safety. The main work and specific research contents of the paper are as follows:(1)This paper analyzes the foreign timetable preparation process for passenger flow demand, and proposes a method for preparing timetable suitable for the characteristics of China’s trains.Under the characteristics of the large proportion of cross-line trains in China, the adjustment method of changing the train’s starting and ending points is proposed, and the impact of changing the starting and ending points on passenger flow and the use of EMUs are analyzed.(2)On the basis of the above-mentioned design process,an optimization model of cross-line train operation for passenger flow demand is proposed. The model discretizes the train and considers the stop time constraint, the interval running time constraint, the cross-line train change start-destination constraint, the station interval time constraint, the cross-line train on and off line adjustable time domain constraint, the skylight constraint, and the EMU connection time constraint.,the number of connections and the constraints of the connection relationship, aiming at the minimum departure time of the trains on this line, the maximum running distance on the cross-line trains, and the minimum number of EMUs used on the EMU line. The ideal timetable and the damaged EMU are in conflict. The group connection plan is adjusted and optimized to maximize the travel needs of this cross-line passenger flow under the premise of compliance with driving safety.(3)Taking the Beijing-Shanghai line as the background, this paper analyzes whether the cross-line trains can change the starting and ending points, the weight setting principle of different starting and ending points, the adjustable time of different cross-line trains going on and off the line, the adjustment of the timetable and the use of the EMUs when using different EMUs,and analyzes the influence of different influencing factors and adjustment methods on the adjustment results of thetimetable.provides a reference for the cross-line passenger flow transportation and the transportation organization of crossline trains in China.
