Historical Islamic gardens in Pakistan belong to the Mughal dynasty which is known as the Mughal Gardens of Pakistan.Mughal Gardens and its style are memorable and amazing.The gardens made in Mughal style are notorious and milestones of that period.The style,elements,presentation,and placement of the highlights and their usefulness are special and altogether not quite the same as other planting styles.In this way,the Mughal gardens are consistently a state of fascination in all classes of individuals and stayed well known through ages independent of some other impacts.The Mughal gardens in Pakistan acquired totally another idea in gardening.The utilization of water in different structures,building structures,and other arrangements of plants caused another sensation among the lovers of gardens.With the progression of time,Pakistan’s gardening styles had gone through numerous changes to oblige changing tastes and enjoying of individuals.In like manner,numerous new gardens and gardening styles appeared.Nonetheless,the prevalence and uniqueness of the Mughal gardens in Pakistan are consistently at the top thinking about their notable significance and uniqueness.A portion of the incredible gardens have been placed into the utilization of explicit reason yet innovation and fundamental designs are as yet proceeded,as it were.This thesis,hence,featured the noticeable Mughal gardens in Pakistan,their current status,and the size of prevalence in the light of the present-day idea of gardening.This thesis presents a case study of Shalimar gardens that provides analysis regarding water Mechanism,Conservation,and Preservation work within Shalimar Garden.Execution of Heritage Impact Assessment(HIA)Tool,Analysis of historical pavilions,and also provides better design proposals for removing illegal bazaar and encroachment around Shalimar Garden and also provides proposals for making historical gardens a better heritage tourist place.The author is able to introduce a smart heritage concept to enhance the beauty of world heritage Shalimar Garden to encounter the problems with the garden.
