Research On Interaction Design Method Of Elderly Home Health Detection Products From Embodied Cognitive Perspective

In recent years,the process of aging society has been accelerating,and home-based medical care has gradually changed into an old-age care model widely favored by Chinese elderly people.Therefore,home-based health detection products with relatively convenient operation have become an indispensable practical tool for home-based old-age care.However,at present,the widely circulated home health testing products in the market have a single function and can not meet the various testing needs of the elderly at the same time;Due to the complexity of technology and user’s interaction process,it is easy for the elderly to make mistakes in the process of using such products,which is not in line with the cognitive and intelligent characteristics of the elderly.Therefore,it is of great significance to pay attention to the unique physical behavior,cognitive characteristics,interactive experience characteristics of the elderly and the demand for home health testing products,and carry out the research on the interactive design of home health testing products for the elderly from both theoretical and practical levels.In order to solve the operation problems of the elderly users when they use intelligent and digital home health testing products and help them improve the interactive experience of the products,this project has carried out in-depth exploration of the physical behavior and cognitive characteristics of the elderly group based on embodied cognition theory.Firstly,the mechanism of body perception and behavioral characteristics of the elderly under the influence of embodied theory was clarified,and the embodied interactive experience model of the elderly was established in accordance with the cognitive law of the elderly,and the corresponding forms of interactive experience were explored.Secondly,the interaction characteristics,interaction modes,interaction processes and interaction elements of home health testing products were summarized.Combined with the characteristics of embodied elderly interactive experience,the interaction design method of home health testing products for the elderly from the perspective of embodied cognition was constructed.Then,the user embodied interaction design requirements and empirical research.On the one hand,qualitative research method was used to obtain the embodied interaction needs of elderly home health testing products through user interviews and behavioral observation,and the product embodied interaction design principles were produced.On the other hand,taking the interaction interface of home health testing products as an example,the research method combining qualitative and quantitative methods is adopted to carry out subjective and objective empirical research on the manifestation of embodied interactive experience of the elderly.Through the comparison of interface operation behavior performance,eye movement measurement data and subjective experience evaluation data model,the weight of product interface elements that affect the embodied interactive experience of the elderly was ranked.The influence mechanism of interface layout elements on the interactive experience of home health testing products for the elderly was analyzed and the optimization design strategy for the embodied interactive interface of products was proposed based on the research conclusions.Finally,based on the previous research results,the interaction design of home health testing products for the elderly was practiced and evaluated by referring to the principles of embodied product interaction design and optimization design strategy of embodied product interaction interface.The results of this research can provide reference for the design and evaluation of home health detection products that conform to the characteristics of embodied interactive experience for the elderly.
