Research On Historical Construction Characteristics Of Chaling Ancient City In Ming And Qing Dynasties

China is an ancient civilization with a long history,breeding ancient cities with their own characteristics,with rich connotations of urban history.Ancient cities have their own characteristics,which are integrated with local folk culture characteristics,rigorous,clear structure and mature formal aesthetics.These construction history and construction characteristics are worth recombing and studying.Chaling,as a small mountain town in the eastern part of Hunan,has human activities as early as 6,000 years ago.Since the fifth year of Emperor Gao-zu of Han Dynasty(202 BC),Chaling has experienced more than 2,000 years of development.In 2013,it was rated as one of the provincial historical and cultural ancient cities of Hunan Province.At present,systematic review and research on the construction history of the ancient city are relatively few,and so are the related aspects of the river system.Therefore,this paper selects Chaling Ancient City as the research object,traces the construction history of chaling ancient City’s construction,development and improvement,and discusses and summarizes the construction characteristics of the ancient city in this period through sorting out its construction activities in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Paper on the basis of urban history and its related theories and literature,history,literature and field research as research methods.First of all,analyze the ancient city of Chaling environment background,respectively from the ancient city of the natural environment and historical background,on the basis of analyses the ancient city of mountains and rivers shape victory,to investigate the relationship between the city construction and the natural environment;To sort out the history of the ancient city before Ming and Qing Dynasties and clarify the relationship between the historical inheritance before Ming and Qing Dynasties.Secondly,it sorts out and studies the urban scale,analyzes the urban population scale and urban land scale,explores its internal and external influencing factors,and then deeply summarizes the characteristics of urban scale construction.Then,on the basis of the city scale,the urban functional construction is combed and explored,mainly from the military and political,education,social three functions,and then respectively from the military and state government,school palace and academy,streets,traffic,social life and commodity trade and other aspects of the discussion,so as to conclude the characteristics of urban functional construction.Then,it discusses the construction of special elements of urban water environment from four aspects of site selection,commerce,landscape and water conservancy project,and obtains the historical characteristics of urban water environment construction.Finally,from two aspects of time and elements,the whole construction context of the city is sorted out.At the same time,in the city size,urban functions and the construction of urban water environment on overall inductive analysis of the cities in the Ming and Qing dynasties from the Ming dynasty military region in Qing dynasty gradually turned to the characteristics of the transition of economic development,reflects the Ming and Qing dynasties,in the development of Hunan military town on the border of Jiangxi adjust measures to local conditions,and relevant to national development.Today,due to natural disasters,man-made disasters and other factors,most of the Chaling city relics and historical and cultural buildings have been destroyed,a small part of the urban spatial pattern,buildings,ancient city walls are still preserved.The state,municipal government and county government pay more and more attention to the cultural context and protection of Chaling Ancient City.The research on the historical construction characteristics of Chaling Ancient City in the Ming and Qing Dynasties provides certain reference value for the protection and regeneration of Chaling Ancient City.
