Landscape Investigation And Research On Artificial Plant Community In The Green Space In The Public Activity Area Of Guangxi University

The plant landscape of campus is an important part of campus environment,which plays a considerable role in constructing a good campus environment and enriching the connotation of campus culture.It should reflect certain cultural details and campus characteristics.How to scientifically and reasonably use and design plants has become a problem worthy of attention in campus construction.This paper takes the artificial plant community in the public activity area of Guangxi University as the research object.In this paper,the quadrat method is used to carry out field investigation,and the statistical analysis method is used to quantify the species composition,community structure,species importance value and diversity measurement,so as to comprehensively summarize the collocation of campus artificial plant communities with the characteristics of rich species,reasonable design and perfect structure,and to clarify the characteristics and deficiencies of plant landscape in the public activity area of Guangxi University.It provides a reference for the construction and optimization of artificial plant communities in the green space of Guangxi University and other universities,and provides a practical basis for constructing a scientific,reasonable,beautiful and practical campus green space environment.The main results are as follows:(1)In terms of species composition,the application of angiosperms shows an absolute advantage in the campus.The plant species are concentrated in the few species family and the single species family.The life form is mainly tree.The plant landscape is evergreen all the year round,and the foliage is the main ornamental type.(2)In terms of the vertical structure of the community,there are 7 types of artificial plant communities in the public activity area of Guangxi University.The dominant structure is tree-shrub-herb.The vertical structure of the community is diverse,and the overall community structure is basically perfect.(3)In the overall analysis of species importance values,the species of Ficus concinna,Mangifera persiciforma,Mangifera indica,Dracontomelon duperreanum in the tree layer,the species of Schefflera octophylla,Loropetalum chinense var.rubrum,Carmona microphylla,Cinnamomum burmannii in the shrub layer,the species of Zoysia matrella in the herb layer are the dominant species at the corresponding levels.(4)In terms of community diversity,on the whole,woody plant species richness is high,while herb species richness is low.The Simpson diversity index,Shannon-Wiener diversity index and Pielou evenness index of all levels in the campus are the highest in the shrub layer,with consistent performance.Among the different community types,the plant species are mostly concentrated in the block plant communities and the plant communities around the building in the campus,and the evenness is high.Among the different functional areas,the East and West Campus Teaching Areas,the West Campus Key Area and the East Campus Lakeshore Area are all rank in the top 4,and their plant species are more abundant and evenly distributed than those in other areas.However,there are great differences in the average ranking of the four indexes in terms of vertical structure.(5)Typical artificial plant communities are characterized by perfect levels,diverse ornamental plant species and rich plant configuration colors.Such communities are often located in key construction areas of the campus with a large flow of people.They not only have good landscape effects,but also are the business cards of campus greening.(6)The plant landscape in the public activity area has the characteristics of high green quantity,evergreen in four seasons,strong regional characteristics of plant landscape,rich types of community vertical structure,and diverse plant configuration.However,there are some problems,such as the lack of obvious seasonal changes in the landscape,the lack of three-dimensional greening landscape in the campus,the low dominance of target species in some artificial plant communities compared with wild species,and shallow cultural reflection of plant landscape.In order to optimize the plant landscape in the public activity area of the campus,it is suggested to increase the application of deciduous trees to improve the ornamental effect brought by seasonal changes,and increase the application of vines to enrich the greening in the vertical direction.Strengthen green space maintenance management in each functional area to reduce the impact of wild plants on the campus greening landscape,and strengthen the application proportion of garden plants with rich cultural connotation and Guangxi unique tree species to highlight the campus culture.
