Study On The Design Of Barrier-free Evacuation For Disabled People In The National Aquatics Center Of Beijing Winter Olympics

National swimming center(hereinafter referred to as the "ice cube")to undertake the curling and wheelchair curling,2022 Beijing Olympics is a number of disabled people more venues,its safe evacuation is an important subject,and barrier-free disabled crowd evacuation system and concrete step is stipulated in the norms of the international Olympic committee(ioc)and the domestic relevant provisions are fuzzy.This paper is devoted to explore the overall method in the internal and external accessibility evacuation layout of the National Aquatics Center for people with disabilities and related signs,analyze and evaluate the existing situation,and put forward improvement measures.In order to guarantee the service of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games,the author participated in the research work of the key topic of "Scientific and Technological Winter Olympics","Personnel dispersal Technology and Assistance System for People with Disabilities at the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games",focusing on the design of barrierfree evacuation for people with disabilities at the National Aquatics Center.In order to learn from the experience of similar venues in previous Winter Olympics,the author sorted out and studied the cases of curling venues in recent five Winter Olympics.The layout and signs inside and outside the venue were sorted out and compared,and the barrier-free evacuation ability of people with disabilities inside and outside the venue was evaluated and summarized.At the same time,the IPC barrier-free guidelines and Chinese norms are also compared.On this basis,the author conducted a field research on the current situation of the accessibility facilities of the National Aquatics Center,analyzed the needs and characteristics of the disabled people in the venue,the layout of the internal and external accessibility evacuation,evacuation flow lines,evacuation signs,etc.,and simulated the accessibility evacuation efficiency of the disabled people inside the venue.Through the research,the paper points out that there are cross interference between ordinary people and people with disabilities in the evacuation streamline of the venue,the location of the external distribution square is not reasonable,the venue evacuation sign system does not fully consider the disabled people and other problems,and then puts forward the optimization and improvement measures.This study is of great significance to further reflect the principles of "fairness,dignity and applicability" of the International Olympic Committee and provide more safe and effective evacuation conditions for people with disabilities in emergency situations.It provides a new idea for the design and research of barrier-free evacuation of sports venues in the future.
